They made me come off all my psychiatric meds even knowing that I was clinically diagnosed bipolar. They call you names like "sloth", most of them are in it for image and money only. They make you go to catholic church and take everything from you including your jewlery and belongings so ypu aren't "distracted".If they get upset at you you are ordered to be silent for weeks. They know NOTHING about trauma. If they did they would have understood I needed my medication for bipolar and anxiety. They make you clean all day, won't let you talk to your family for 30 days. My husband divorced while I was there. They only take you swimming and make you pray with your face down on the floor. The girls there were bullies and the staff make fun of you and the owner is in it for money only. They know nothing about addiction and just tell you to conform to AA teachings. I became delusional while off my medication and all they did was throw holy water on me. This place may work for some, but for someone with severe mental disorders it was rather cruel to watch me spiral then make me conform while I was seriously ill. They don't genuinely care for you there. I left worse off then I was when I got there. But now I am proudly clean and have been now for over ten years. I know am in peer counseling myself for addiction. It is very sad they couldn't see I was severly sick and not a normal case. They need to allow people to be on their psychiatric drugs for taking them off suddenly can cause more damage!!! I spent 40 days in a mental institution after that place and lost my home, marriage, and belongings. They would talk to your family for you and not give accurate information to them on your behalf. For someone who has been through spiritual trauma and abuse this place caused me more spiritual trauma and I am quite disappointed and disgusted they charge over $1000 a month but refused to treat you when you're in psychiatric psychosis. This place should be shut down.Do not go to this place especially if you suffer from PTSD, anxiety, depression, or bipolar disorder or any psychiatric conditions.

I am utterly disgusted at how a simple, reasonable and very do-able request to replace a nurse was allowed (and on some level) instigated into multiple property bans AND a young lady losing her job. The worst part about it is while the apparent administrator wanted accountability for the family members, there was ZERO for her or her staff. WHYYYYY ruin lives and have family members stressed and at dis-ease when you could've simply replaced the nurse.....and you unprofessional people thought it funny?? The administrator spoke sooo ruthlessly about a patient saying he was no longer there, his eyes are staring at the wall, "he cant even talk"......I would NEVER want another family to endure such harsh treatment or a patient to be so thoroughly disregarded. This was hands-down the worst hospital experience I have ever seen. They just treated and streeted…read moremy mother-in-law, who should not have been discharged so soon (less than 24 hours) after surgery. They ignored her pain and swelling, refused to help with her shoes, or even with toileting, so that she returned home with soiled clothes. We contacted a patient advocate and tried to ask for short term rehab, in order to restore her strength and confidence, to no avail. Her nurse was in tears, telling us this is not a safe discharge. Even the person pushing her wheelchair out said they aren't allowed to push out someone who can't stand on their own - but they did. I will never use this hospital again and will share our experience online as far as possible.
