Years later, I finally decided to take the plunge before going on an Italy trip.....and I'm SO glad I found Grace. I'm now a consistent client. She listened to exactly what I wanted, gave me bangs, fixed the weird "band" around my head, and completely transformed my look. I walked out of her chair feeling like a million bucks. I'M BACKKKK. Grace is incredibly talented, kind, relatable, and such a great listener. She even gives the best scalp massages! She asked if she needed to come to the shoot but that wasn't necessary I met up at her place. Two days before the shoot they changed my time. Luckily Kaya could adjust to me schedule. She just moved apartments but I didn't really notice to be honest. She is so friendly and professional; you can tell she has a lot of experience with different looks to fit every occasion. In my case everything stayed pretty natural. Blemishes were covered up nicely and accents applied where necessary. All in all the process took about 40 minutes. After my shoot, she sent me a follow up text message asking how everything went and if the makeup stayed good the entire shoot. I would definitely recommend her for any kind of makeup job!

I'm very conservative when…read moreit comes to my hair; I'm not too good with change but last year I decided to cut off 11/12 inches of my hair and Krystyn did it perfectly. I actually couldn't believe how much I loved it! So of course I came back here when I wanted to dye my hair for the first time! I, of course, asked for Krystyn again and she fit me in ASAP! I showed her an album of the screenshots I accumulated of hairstyles and highlights I liked. She asked questions, made me feel comfortable, and made sure that she understood what I wanted. She was sympathetic with how nervous I was and really understood how I wanted it to look natural. It came out super well and she did exactly what I asked for: it was natural just like I asked, sun-kissed. But then after a couple days I decided I could handle a litttle more change so I asked her if she could make it a little lighter. Of course she was super cool about it and made an appointment that worked with my schedule. It is pricey but worth it considering they use all took notch products and offer great customer service. I'm moving so I'm sad that I can't take Krystyn with me but if you're looking for a hairstylist who gives 100% customer satisfaction, cares about you, listens, and does exactly what you want, you'd be crazy not to come here! Thank you, Krystyn!

Tatiana listened to me and made my look better than the photos I provided! I asked for a natural, glowing skin look with beach wave hair. My face was glowing and at the last minute we decided to add a braid to my hair to see if I liked. And I LOVED it!!! And she told me that I could take out the braid at the end of the shoot and I could have a messy wavy look so I'd have 2 hair looks instead of one! You definitely know she has a lot of experience with photoshoots, commercial, weddings etc because she knows how to do your makeup and hair to get the most out of it. I didn't even think I could have two different looks if I took down the braid. Her studio is in Santa Monica but since I was very close to it, she came to my house without an additional cost. She's also very prompt with her communication. Since my shoot was very far away (in Laguna Beach), I was afraid my makeup and hair wouldn't last because I wouldn't have Tatiana with me on location. But it lasted through 1.5 hrs in traffic and 1.5 hrs of shooting in the sun! I ended up wearing my hair and makeup through the whole day after the photoshoot because it looked so good. I haven't had to use powder or reapply anything. My lipstick was gone but that's because I went out to eat after the shoot. She is VERY meticulous! She wants you to be perfect.
