This is more of a 3.5 due to service but not the web nor app experience. Otherwise, service remains the same. Be prepared for the customer service closes and opens based on 1 employee schedule. They don't have more folks to staff it outside of her scheduled hours. Enough products on the shelf. Online pick-up isn't as intuitive as I'd prefer. Example: you see an item in the weekly ad then click... It won't automatically populate in your shopping cart. You have to manually shop. Searching for certain names doesn't grant you the item like fanta grape or coke vanilla. So, aim generic or shop by categories. The custom orders are honored and delivered on time with a smile so shout out to the Deli. Maybe with the Kroger takeover they'll consider coming to North Shreveport. read more

All I was to see on shelves is organic food as cheap as non organic food is. The service is nothing special.They can be rude like all stores now days.The ambiance is usual fare.Nobody should have to buy non organic food because it's all they can afford.This country adds chemicals to it's food that's banned in other countries.I don't want beaver glands in my food.It's used for a flavoring in foods I don't want gums in my coffee creamer that has side effects like most coffee creamer including International Delight.I want real, natural food . read more

they said they closed at 8. i pulled up at 7:40 and the security guard & an older lady with blonde hair said they were closed & we could not come in. IN THE MIDDLE OF AN ICE STORM. i needed THREE things, one of them being diapers!!! i just thought it was very unprofessional especially during this time when its already hard to get around (bc most people dont have 4WD) & hardly anything is open. So this is the only Albertsons left in the area. It has just gone through some remodeling and so is a bit nicer to shop. They do have a problem in putting discounted meat products at the front of the store, to tempt you. Unfortunately there has been 2 occasions where those meats were rancid. Older and slightly worn out, this Albertsons has been around for decades. More expensive than Kroger, I'm not sure why anyone would make this their go to grocery. I just popped in because they have a deli. When I first walk in the smell of fish hit me, and that wasn't pleasant. And I wanted a hand basket but there wasn't any at the entrance I came in at. It's a community supermarket, but it was pretty well supplied, they even had Brazi bites which I haven't seen in at least half of bigger stores in SHV. They get bonus points for having nice staff and a whole wall of LSU memorabilia. read more

Good little neighborhood store....and they don't just support the Cowboys as someone previously stated. Been going to that store for 35-40 years. My one gripe would be that the produce is often left out too long. Other than that the people who work there work hard. read more

I can NOT emphasize this enough....AMAZING BAKERY!!!!! GREAT quality, even GREATER prices! For my daughter's birthday (she's two!) we ordered a Cookie Monster cake and it was HUGE and looked JUST like him WITH four of Albertson's delicious LARGE homemade chocolate chip cookies in his cake mouth!!! Awesome! Even more awesome?...The price! $14.99 plus tax...Listen, I love Julie Anne's Bakery on Line Ave. Love it! But a cake like this woulda cost me about a 2nd mortgage there! I LOVE Albertson's! I love the bakery and I love their liquor store! I swear to God and all that is holy if I ever decide to open the Albertsons app and check out the sales again, someone please just stab me in the face. I could save myself a lot of aggravation that way. Last year they tried to start doing a savings program like Kroger, but I think it was written by squirrels because YOU NEVER GET ALL OF THE DISCOUNTS THAT YOU LOAD TO YOUR CARD. THEN you have to go to customer service and get talked to like an idiot. Did you put your phone number in? Lady if I hadn't put my phone number in I wouldn't have gotten the other discounts... see how that works? Did you put it in before they started scanning? Well no...i put it in after Betty Jo started scanning. Oh God no, you can't do that... it has to be before she starts scanning, stupid girl. Ok...fine. So from that point on, I rush to enter my phone number as soon as I can at checkout and STILL don't get the discounts I've loaded to my phone/ account. That prompts another trip to customer service. "Well, those discounts aren't available until next week." What? Here... look at it on my phone. You show them the sales as listed on the app but they're too busy with their personal conversations. They half heartedly look at it while continuing their personal conversation and offer no service or advice other than "i don't know they don't teach us anything." I try them out again after several months... surely the bugs are worked out. But oh no. Discounts still not showing. Put your phone number in after the first item is rung up. But... They belligerently told me the last time that i needed to enter my phone number before anything rang up?? Even though it's impossible? Maybe you need to update your app, they suggest. Maybe you need to mark of items from your list as you shop, another interjects. These coupons are only available in Texas stores, despite the fact they're available on your account, another worker says, seemingly unwilling to help any farther. I swear i have heard every excuse for not getting the promotions and deals offered, and i have been blamed for the mishaps every single time. I've sent letters to the manager, and emails to corporate. No one responds because they just don't care... they don't want to fix anything or understand exactly how their own app works. I'm really sick of being treated like it's my fault. I'm deleting this app and I'm deleting Albertsons as a viable shopping source. Albertsons is not maintaining their apps or training their employees and I'm sick of feeling scammed every time i shop here. If you bargain shop like me, if you shop there, you'd better scrutinize your receipts because if i hadn't i would have lost anywhere between the least, 4.00, and the most- a whopping 40 bucks. If you don't like to review your receipts, or don't like confrontation, just avoid this place like the plague. It's beyond unreasonable in this day and age. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Came here to get a bunch of veggies and their tomatoes and avocados had a TON of flies/gnats on them it was absolutely disgusting. So, we had to get tomatoes inside a plastic container bc of the nasty bugs(which btw the ones in the plastic container were the only ones available), went to check out, and they didnt have any price on them! He called produce, they couldnt find the item. Manager came over, had to call them again. Item isnt in the system. They went to price check it and there was no price. (all a huge waste of time and it took like 15 minutes) I said "Just give it to us for $2" and the manager said "$3". So, if you want nasty produce and to see a shit show, this is the place! This store has a variety of food items to purchase, but very pricey compared to surrounding stores. The store is well kept and the employees are friendly and seem to work hard. This store isn't as large as other stores, and may not have less popular items. This is the closest grocery store to where I live; however, I choose to shop at Kroger due to the price difference. read more

Terrible customer service! The employees are very rude. If you have any sort of issue with getting your card loading discounts be prepared to have the horrible woman running customer service roll her eyes at you huff and puff because you need her to do her JOB! I cannot stress enough how rude the employees at this location are. I will never shop there again. read more
