Albertsons has always been my go to store for grocery and everyday items. I love how they offer a variety of items at a everyday low price. As like most Albertsons stores most have a full service Starbucks inside of them where you can grab some coffee and start shopping. I really enjoy the bakery and their chocolate chip cookies they sell as well. The fried chicken is the best for a quick dinner on the go and they always have all the sides you can choose from. At this particular store they had a wide variety of Cajun seasonings and spices I just had to pick up and take with me on the road back to CA since you can't find anything like that besides here in LA. This store has a huge selection of beer, wine, and liquor that is sold right conveniently inside. While I was there it was rush hour and the staff did a great job getting the customers in and out through the lines in a fashionable manner. Great store, great prices, great people! Service at the customer service this is smooth very exceptionable. Self check out is always horrible this past Friday. I was cursed out by an employee after I ask what time it was because I had misplaced my phone and I didn't have a watch on. She just started hollering at me in saying she's coming she's coming and when I reply to her that I was asking for another reason, she shouted at me. It's not my fault you left your damn phone at home, don't talk to me. Don't say nothing to me. I was incomplete this relief but at the same time I did not let her talk to me like I'm a little child. I'm a grown woman so I did tell her where I stand and I kept on doing what I was doing with the person at the checkout desk, who was very courtesy and apologize to me for that. She said that's not what we represent. I spent hundreds of dollars in the store every week particularly on Friday and that disrespect was uncalled for. Prices are the highest in Alexandria. There is never one person at the customer service desk at 8 AM even though they open at 8 AM. Someone didn't show up for their shift and was not there until 8:22 AM. I went to Walmart where I was taken care of in less than the amount of time I stayed at Albertsons. However, I won't be going over here. I try to get my wife not to go to the store, but she continues to go. They need a serious manager that will crack down on all these mishaps and issues. read more

Negative score if possible. You have 2 lazy people hiding in the back. You have 3 over by the bakery, and one dude working deli. I had to go to the back to ask for assistance. Naturally attitude I had the nerve to ask for the woman working the weight register in the back saying we"ll get to you. Not!! Lazy people and ignorance a plenty. read more

You go in there as an "out of towner", try to use the coupons that the machine texts to you when you sign up for their "rewards program". Well the text sends you to use the Safeway app for coupons, you go in and try to use the coupons at self checkout and they don't work. So then little miss minimum wage comes over rolling her eyes with an attitude because she has to do something besides drool on herself whilst staring off into space. She can't get it corrected comes off with an attitude about, yeah sometimes Safeway coupons work. When the damn Safeway app sent you to that freaking store. Come over to the service desk so little miss minimum wage attitude can roll her stupid eyes. I told em to keep it. This place is the worst, I'd rather go to Walmart and I hate Walmart. At least I don't ever need help from the smooth brain squad who can't even run a cash register. Zero stars is more appropriate. read more

It's a grocery store. It has a "starbucks" in it that always has a line. I'm pretty convinced that the "Starbucks" here is the only reason people drive through town and a traffic circle to get here. Otherwise there are plenty of other grocery stores around and they are likely a bit cheaper and easier to get to. read more

Not a bad place to get your groceries. Alexandria likes to put Starbucks in their grocery stores. It is my second choice in my grocery store line-up. Their organics selection is thin. This location is also limited on vegetarian options also. read more

The sale items are what brings in the people here, along with the Starbucks which is better than the one in Kroger down the street...good meat and liquor selection, but produce department can be lacking at times...most of the staff are friendly, but the store's business has definitely declined since it's opening, mainly due to it's high pricing mentality it took in the 2000's that it has yet to rid itself of. read more

The employers are RUDE as h**l and the groceries are OVER priced. Talk to the store Manager to let him know about my experience in his store and all he came up with was some excuse that it was busy and that had volunteers helping them today. But everyone I talk too had a name tag on that said Albertsons. When there only because this was the only store open for Christmas. All the items I get were support be on sell but did NOT one item ring the correct prices. If I didn't need the snuff for my family I would have let all that s**t there.
