I quickly found my top choice and came back a few days later to make the purchase. Sherri was very knowledgeable about every dress in her shop and supported me every step of the decision. I felt so confident saying yes to the dress here! This is a hidden gem tucked away in Sawtelle. It's not pretentious but rather a casual and relaxed atmosphere with fairly priced dresses and accessories. I also love that they do alterations in house. We booked an appointment 4 or 5 days ahead of time, as there was full availability on the calendar for weekdays. There is a 48 hour cancellation window, and at hour 47 we realized that the timing conflicted slightly with a work matter (when we made the appointment we were in New York and miscalculated the time difference). An email was sent at the 47th hour (1 hour after the window), mentioning the issue and asking if it could still be canceled since it was so close to the window, and apologizing for missing the window. The owner replied and specifically said "No problem, we've gone ahead and canceled the appointment for you". At this point, we figured all was well as they made no mention of still charging the fee. A few weeks later, we noticed the charge was still there. A quick email reply came when we inquired saying it was past their window and no refund was due. IF this was the case, why did the original email not say so and why did they make 0 effort to reschedule or ask if another time worked better? OR we could have made it work if she hadn't responded so positively. What a slimy way to make a quick $27 for nothing. I will restate that the calendar was still really really open (ie, it was not a highly sough after appointment slot taken from anyone else even on the off chance they were booking in the 2-4 days out window). Overall, it is a blessing the appointment didn't happen after reading some of these reviews about how the owner acts in person (no surprise there). Ended up with a beautiful dress from Berta and would highly recommend their new LA showroom on Beverly.

I order a suit from this company on Sept 6 as of the 24th of Sept this the item STILL had not shipped. It took forever to get a tracking number was a Fedex, which to this day still has NO updates. They apparently sent the package out Via UPS but neglected to advise me or to include a packing slip for the package that was delivered so I had no idea who was the shipper. They also shipped the incorrect item and and provided no return labels, every attempt to communicate with them was unsuccessful there were delays on responses and the responses were one sentence responses which provided little to no information on their intent on how to correct the issue. The response to me telling them they sent the incorrect suit was "Sounds like you got a free vest - we won't charge you for it ". There was NEVER and apology for the handling of this order at ANY time. I had to pay for the return to which I was supposed to receive a refund, because I was never provided with a return label. When I asked for a return label I was advised they don't have any, which is NOT what their website states. PLEASE PLEASE be leery of this company. Clearly Customer Service of any Level is NOT their Primary Concern. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN. I'm also now checking to verify I don't shop with any company that may an affiliate of there's. I don't want to support this company in any Way, Shape or Form. Looks like they may be part of Mens USA so they are going on my list of do not buy from there as well.

I appreciate his great eye and understanding of menswear and fine details as well. I first visited this tailor a few years ago with a blazer that I had bought overseas. Because of my height, jackets always have to be cut down and made slimmer, and buying off the rack suits is a nightmare because the pants are always way too big in the waist and require a lot of tailoring. William did the most beautiful job on a blazer that I bought in Spain and even added special stitching to the button holes; it has been my favorite jacket ever since. Last week I brought in a new suit and some shirts to take in, and he did the most incredible tailoring job once again. I've had suits tailored in Rome by some of the best tailors my friends recommended, and honestly I think William is better than any of them. The shop is also decorated with antique cameras on display and lots of interesting things to look at. The whole staff is super charming and nice. There's parking in back in a small lot with meters and I believe the shop has a couple of parking spots of their own, but I haven't used them. I give this establishment my highest recommendation as a tailor and also the prices are a good value. Turn around is quick as well. The jackets and suits that I have brought here have always ended up being my favorite and best fitting pieces.

I came in for a return and the staff was SO helpful and accommodating. The space is slightly on the smaller side but everything is organized well and I was asked multiple times if I needed any help with anything. I went to return my online purchase and use some of the leftover credit to purchase something in store. I don't remember the name of the guy who helped me but there was some sort of technical issue in the system so he called over the manager who apologized and tried to help with the situation. They were both so helpful in making sure I got my money back before leaving and the double checked everything. There was another error which wasn't their fault but they gave me some extra store credit that they couldn't cancel on one of the gift cards they created for store credit as an apology for the wait. This was so kind and I've been in many stores where they would never be this accommodating. Not trying to detract from anyone elses' experience but just no the employees now are great! Would definitely shop or do business at this location again!
