Gone downhill BIG TIME! I usually go in the evenings/early am hours and the burritos are always hot and BIG! The burrito I just bought right now (11/8/23 @3pm) was horrible! Paid $12 and it's not even worth $5! Skinny, over filled with COLD beans and can't even find the rice or asada. I can never finish their burritos, I finished in minutes and not full. The little short man in the drive thru was not friendly and didn't give me my receipt (I wanted it because I was wondering why I didn't receive any change. He then tells me that the two little tacos were $2.99 each. Oh heck no! I asked for a refund and he hands me $5?? Umm, what?!! Also, I was the only car in the drive thru and they were soooo slow! Drive thru line and the wait in the drive thru line is always long af but the wait be worth it. Everything here is good and I'll say quality. My favorite about them is that they're 24/7. Drove here from March AFB @2am! (3 miles away from Base) Not only were they open but if I wanted to I could have went inside to eat;) The cashier was so nice and inviting as well as professional! Pretty decent mexican food. Compared to a lot of the places in this area, this actually is very good and great quality. The location is a bit run down but in a nice little business plaza. Honestly, I only go here when it's late 'cause it's decent food at any hour. It's kind of pricey though & the guys that work there aren't very courteous. Love the carnitas or carne asada plate though. A LOT of food for like $8. The plates are worth it. But, they charge extra for guacamole or sour cream on things that SHOULD come with those ingredients already. That's inappropriate pricing to me. Good for late-nights but there's less expensive places with good customer service during normal business hours. read more

We went through the drive-thru this morning and waited a while, after not being serviced in the drive thru we went inside. There were about 6 or 7 employees inside, most had headsets on to hear the drive thru ring. We still waited, they looked at us and said nothing. They even seemed to be laughing about it. Some were cleaning from what seemed to be because it wasn't done the night before. Someone finally came out to the register, with an open plate of food and was eating. He still did not greet us. Another customer came in for a mobile order pickup (or Uber eats), they were finally greeted by the guy who was eating his food, and we were still not greeted. The mobile order wasn't even ready either. After waiting a while longer and having a different employee come from the back and not greet us or say a thing, we decided to leave. It's a shame because we came here before and were served a pretty decent portion of food (although the person who served us at that time was rude but I shrugged it off). However, we will never return after this service. Even if night shift stiffed them by not cleaning the night before or something else caused a delay, I would have been totally understanding and would not mind waiting if they at least said there would be a wait. I have only had food from here once when they first opened years ago and I recall the food not being memorable. We were returning home late and all of the places were closed when our son asked for carne asada. I decided to give them another chance since there weren't any other choices. Unfortunately, I will have to say that they will never get my money again. I spent over 20 minites in line, which I did not mind since that would be a aign that they have a following. Later it was determined that these people may not have had a choice either. This is by far the worst carne asada I have ever purchased. For a place that seems to use carne asada as a center piece for food items they are known for (asada nachos, asada fries, asada baked potato), this was highly disappointing. Our son did not touch the food once he looked at it. There were 3 paper thin non-marinated, old and dried, pieces of meat topped over some very bland rice, bland pico de gallo, shredded lettuce, and refried beans. The corn tortillas were stale and fell apart when we opened it. The two tiny amounts of red and green "salsa" were watery and tasteless. We do not throw away food in this house often but this was one of those few times. This was a waste of ten dollars and time. This was the one time I would have chosen taco bell over Mexican food. The reviews about the dirtiness of the restaurant remain true, from the drive thru window, everything was dirty. There was a questionable opaque bucket sitting on a shelf that could have been either more beans, but probably was lard. The owners should be ashamed of the food they are serving and like another local establishments, I question the people who continue to support these businesses, must all be people eating after the bar closes. read more

The food is so delicious, I love their chicken enchiladas and their carne asada with boiled potato. It puts a good dent in my stomach too with their portion size so you get your moneys worth. Also they're open 24 hour so me and my man drive out their sometime when we're having a late night craving. If you're a spice head like me you should try their Habanero sauce. It's really spicy.
