Chris and Gina are very talented, with an impeccable eye for composition, colours and detail. 1. Boudoir Shoot I did this with Gina a few years ago in the Port Moody studio, where there are several different sets/backdrops. She's professional but also very friendly, and quickly put me at ease because... let's be real...boudoir shoots could feel goofy. Gina taught me how to pose so that I wasn't all awkward. The photos turned out amazing - classy and beautiful. I pull them out whenever I need a little confidence boost =) 2. Wedding Photography/Photo Booth We were specifically looking for a photographer with a more modern versus soft/vintage style. We worked with Chris and I cannot say enough good things about him. We LOVE our photos - he captured the day/night perfectly. Our friends and family complimented us on how friendly and professional he was during the event. And when we looked at the proofs, I swear he can teleport. I'm not entirely sure how he was able to capture everything that he did... We chose not to do engagement photos, but took post-wedding pictures around town instead. We went to somewhat touristy/over-photographed places (my request - I wanted very "Vancouver" backdrops) but Chris managed to make our pictures look unique (I'm telling you - he has an amazing eye for composition). 3. Photo Booth We used their photo booth for a reception and it was a great addition to the event. The staff was friendly, their props are fun and they have a sparkly GOLD backdrop! 4. Baby Bump Photos I went back to Gina for my baby bump photos. Once again, we did the pictures in their Port Moody studio but this time I was sporting a giant belly. Again, she put me at ease and helped me pose. The photos turned out amazing! 5. Family Portraits We gifted a family portrait to my parents as a Christmas present. We just took the pictures a few days ago so I haven't seen proofs yet... but the experience was great. We pretty much just showed up and Gina did the rest - figuring out different group photo combinations, bribing my toddler to look at the camera, etc. They even have kid-sized backdrops/sets that are super cute. I'm excited to see the pictures.

Thank goodness for Chris and his assistant for the day, Alex, who captured the moments of our wedding day that my eyes could not. They were the best. Showing up ahead of time, quickly staging flowers and arranging our bridal party and family. Finding the right moment to pull us away to capture the best light of the day. Effortlessly moving through all of our guests at a photo booth receiving line- best idea ever, by the way! No, seriously, I can't think of one thing that I would want them to do differently, except for find a magical time machine that would let us do it all over again! From our engagement shoot the month after Peter popped the question where Gina and Chris helped us stage an outdoor living room at the waters edge, to staging and preserving every little detail of our wedding day, they captured our memories like the pros that they are. I could not be happier with our pictures. Chris and Gina, thank you. I know you can't see my tears of joy right now as I write this even all of these months later, but they are there and they are real. You made me the happiest bride. xo

She said yes to all our requests when we booked our session, but, she denied everything after we paid for it. I really doubted if all those pictures showing on her gallery were taken by this ROSA or somebody else??!! When we received our pictures, the first thing i wanted to say is "OMG". I really couldn't believe they were taken from a so-called photographer. Poor lighting and angles, also ugly background. And, she captured a lot of the unnecessary stuff on almost all the pictures (e.g. a crowd of people at the back or just right next to us, garbage bin, traffic cones, etc). When I called and requested her to just simply remove/crop them out. She said NO as she thinks there is no problem at all. Oh...COME ON!!!! I kept negotiating with her and she dared to say "I don't care about you as there is always NEW customers". She is so so so rude and arrogant. In the end, she cut off the phone line without letting me saying anything. What a bad attitude and poor service!!!

The kids look bored, very few are smiling, and the photos themselves are very average. She has watermarks all over her photos, and it's hard to actually see the subject. Last year we asked if she could reduce the watermarks so we could actually see our child and she not only refused, but she was quite rude about it. She also won't email the image, but instead you have to buy a USB from her if you'd like a digital copy. Not only outdated, but wasteful. We'll buy the class photo, but I wouldn't bother with the individuals. Not worth the money. EDIT: I'm not sure why this says I'm in the US (posting from Vancouver, Canada)

After special circumstances we were scrambling to find someone who was still available and within our budget too, and we found Pink Lotus online. Amanda responded to us quickly, we loved her portfolio and it seemed like she had a really great eye and unique style. We chatted with her via Skype since we were planning our BC wedding from Edmonton. She made us feel totally at ease and answered all our questions. We knew we wanted to sign with her before we hung up on the chat. Amanda and her friend Amber were stellar on the wedding day. I was not a calm bride by any means, but they were extremely patient even when we were running behind and reminded me to relax. I think my favorite part of the day was doing the portraits with Amanda. She makes it so much fun and you can still be yourself as she's snapping away. We really liked her creativity and that she put us at ease. And I seriously felt like a princess for a day :) We received our wedding photos relatively quickly too, given that she was swamped with several other weddings at the same time. What I really liked was when she released "teasers" of our photos every now and then after the wedding, it's like a little surprise every day before you get all of them! She is also really great about responding to messages quickly and keeping in touch. The photos turned out amazingly and we are so glad we found Amanda. Thanks for everything, Amanda, you rock! We will definitely think of you for *other* special life events :)

We weren't sure what to expect, but we just knew we wanted some engagment photos. We were so pleasantly surprised by how the three of us clicked together, right from the third photo or so. We had Amanda for an hour, and we walked around parts of Stanley Park, and we had a great deal of fun on our photo shoot. When we got our photos back, fairly quickly, I might add, we were so impressed - we loved them! Our friends and family did, too; we have received so many compliments on our engagement photos. We already had a photographer for our wedding, or we would have loved to have had Amanda take our wedding photos, too.

I booked the einstein party package with the upgrade. at the beginning - aside from the confirmation email- I had not been reached out. furthermore - I have to reach out to the owner on multiple occasions. my personal experience is they will not respond to emails. phone call seemed to work best. the night before the party I got an email of whom my party leader was( not two days prior) yes it is a minor detail but something that is clearly outlined on their webpage. the leader did not text me until the actual party time when she expressed she would be late. once she arrived there was still a lot of prep that needed to be done and she was not equipped to handle 15 kids alone. in fairness this is not a complaint of the Leader, rather the business and not recognizing that 15 to 1 leader is simply not enough. we had purchased an upgraded package and the extras were not included. the elephant toothpaste experiment was also not for everyone rather just 1 person ( and it did not work) in that upgraded package it came with loot bags and lets be clear- a plastic 2 piece plane and sticker is not what I thought would be included. after speaking with the team - they were not remorseful. they reimbursed be $30 for the missed experiments and $10 for the leader being late. overall, myself and the parents were incredible dissatisfied with the services.

I was obviously stressed due to arriving late but they were so friendly and we just jumped right into it and they were really good at making me feel comfortable with the fact that I was prancing around in my underwear in front of strangers! Unfortunately before I knew it, my session was over. 2 weeks later, I went to the viewing and was astonished at what I saw. The pictures were absolutely stunning. Helen managed to bring something out of me that I really didn't know existed. I wasn't just a frumpy stay at home mom, I was HOT!! It's not just the photos that make every penny spent worth it, it's the whole experience. I don't think anyone can capture what Helen does. I highly recommend a boudoir session to anyone. It's a great gift for that special person, but most of all it's a great gift to do it for yourself.
