Its location could not be better as it is located in the middle of the historic district and literally a few steps from the Arena. There are many trendy shops and restaurants of all types nearby and you are in easy walking distance of most of the sights of Verona. Traffic is highly restricted in the historic district so there isn't any street noise and with the windows shut the room was very quiet. We had one of the rooms with a balcony which was very nice for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Our room was small but comfortable and the bathroom was modern. The breakfast is good but not spectacular. All of the staff however have been outstanding. They are friendly and helpful and have made our stay a real pleasure. Verona is a low key city compared to Rome and Florence but has excellent sights, isn't touristy, isn't crowded (at least October) and we have eaten better here than any other place in Italy. We would definitely recommend the Hotel Giulietta e Romeo.

We stopped in to have a drink at the rooftop bar. We didn't have a reservation but the bar wasn't crowded. An elevator goes directly to the rooftop from the lobby. The rooftop bar has three levels with a hot tub on one. We were seated at the best table. It was the only table on the top level with an amazing view of the small coliseum and the main square. It had a perfect sunset view! We arrived just in time for apertivo The drinks were very good. I had a Venetian spritz, one of my diagnosed had a mojito and the other had a glass of very good champagne. Some small bites also came with the cocktails. All for 39 euro! It didn't have additional food. The server was very nice

The hotel is dated and everything shows wear and tear. My biggest problem was how hot the rooms were and we could hear everyone above us all night long. Not ideal for light sleepers. However, the staff there were polite and helpful. They can call you a cab to the train station and also store your luggage for you. After we checked out, they kept our luggage for seven hours and offered us water when we were leaving. The staff were great. Verona is amazing shopping and this is a great spot to go shop around bring your bag from there. Highly recommended bringing a suitcase so you can take all the goodies home.

I couldn't be more satisfied with the location. As for the hotel itself, very elegant. The highlight for me was the lounge area that had refreshments and snacks. Every time prior to heading out, stopped by for a quick snack and enjoyed a couple glasses of prosecco. The lounge seats are so comfortable and I frequently saw the staff fluff up the cushions whenever someone leaves. The bar area is also a very cozy area to park yourself and enjoy a cocktail. There are several "study" areas with chairs and tables which played well with their name of the "Accademia". The hotel room itself was also very cozy and comfortable. Nicely sized room and bathroom to fit my luggage in the room and toiletries on the bathroom counter without feeling cramped.

Service is definitely on the level of a 4 star hotel, breakfast is good and the beds really comfy. I surely can recommend this hotel.

The location is amazing! It's situated right by the gates to the city centre of Verona. You're within a minute walk to the Piazza Bra which is the largest piazza in the country and holds the almost 2000 year old (built in 30 AD) Verona Arena. There are plenty of restaurants along here to grab a drink and a snack and watch the hustle-bustle of activity. You can also rent bikes and it's easy to get to the shops and a few other piazza. The hotel itself is comfortable enough. Wi-fi will cost you about 10 Euro for 12 hours. This time I wasn't able to connect in my room though (old, thick walls) so I did all my internet stuff in the lobby or breakfast room. The breakfast is quite varied and there's even a large selection of gluten-free items. There are hot items, a coffee/cappuccino machine (I needed an extra shot of espresso for it to be strong enough) and a juice dispenser. The shower in the bathroom this year seemed odd to me. There wasn't a full wall so water soaked the floor (pick up all your belongings!) and looked like it would work its way out to the bedroom if I didn't turn off the water. There's a bidet too but I didn't use it. Last time I found my bed was really hard but this time wasn't too bad. The prices during VinItaly are like highway robbery (about 200 Euro/night + the breakfast plan was additional) but I'm not paying thankfully. I think it's about $150/night usually and that includes breakfast. The location is amazing though. Also it cost 35 Euro to get from the airport in a cab.

Walked to the VinItaly shuttle bus in 2 min. There's a small minibar in the room. Wifi costs extra. So bring your wallet. My double room was €133 during VinItaly, which was a rip off. I stayed in Trento the next day, my room was much nicer and cost half as much. Tips: * there's a nice supermercado behind the hotel, so stock up on fresh fruit, water and vino. * there's a small dry cleaner on the way to the Poste. The latter of which sells Euros at a decent exchange rate. * my hands down fav restaurant in Verona is "La Catina del 15", about 5 min by foot. Reservation suggested for dinner. * there's a decent gym Health City about 6 min by foot, costs €16 per day, which is fairly reasonable if you want to shed a few pounds from eating delicious Italian foods.
