The owner, Roberto's family has owned the hotel for decades and, while his English is better than my Italian, we find a happy medium speaking Spanish. He is a very charismatic guy who cooks the breakfast each morning (very good hard boiled eggs, pastries, grilled veggies, and more plus whatever coffee/espresso drink you want! He has gone out of his way to make our stays enjoyable and the price is very reasonable at about 80 Euro/night. Highly recommend! This hotel is across the street from Lake Maggiore and just a short walk to the historic/quaint downtown Arona area.
