I highly recommend Albany Scuba. They skillfully walked me through the process of getting my Open Water Diving Certification. They provided all the needed gear and have an experienced Team that gave me lots of personalized attention. On top of that, they are extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind. They are also reasonably priced. Working with Albany Scuba is truly a win, win experience. read more

Albany Scuba is a fantastic dive shop. It does not get more inviting then walking into someone's garage, pulling up a chair and having a one on one conversation with the dive master Steve. He hooked me up in no time, signed me up immediately, and I had a carefree easy experience with the 4 week classes once per week to get PADI Open Water Dive Certified. His fellow teammates that helped out are equally caring and make you feel extremely calm before you embark on breathing underwater for the first time. His office is at his home but he has state of the art equipment and takes you to the community pool for the classes. The open water dive is then up in the Hood Canal in Washington where you spend an amazing weekend hanging out and diving all weekend! Steve is a one of a kind, don't miss out on learning from him and picking his brain! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! read more

If you have ever considered scuba diving, do yourself a favor and sign up at Albany Scuba. Matt's and Holly's knowledge, patience, and enthusiasm make them a winning team for a wonderful learning experience. It is very spacious, and close to the sandy volley ball court, and nice play structures. Inside Splash I have not been to in years so I really can't say much, I used to take my kids here when they were young and they loved it. They had swimming lessons here as well. My boys are grown now, but from what I recall the swim lessons were not too badly priced, and they loved going to them. When they hit the middle school ages they wanted me to drop them off at the wave pool with their friends! Ah ha! Had to throw that one in there. They loved the snack bar, and always came out with goodies. Hopefully they have healthier snacks now. But hey, it is a place for the littles to have fun. So enjoy while they are still young.

He drowned then one is a new real lifeguard had to save them give him mouth-to-mouth CPI and he died four times came back to life and pooped himself I'll come here again my son sucks. You smell like shit. And when I walked in, there was a sock on the ground.

Both times the people around were not welcoming. The Easter egg hunt we didn't even get to do because they ran out of eggs after the first group even though 100s of people RSVP'd online. During the May tournament there were club members who were very unkind and you could tell they were proud to show off how much better they were than the beginners that showed up. They promote new classes and coaching but based on my experiences with multiple club members I would not want to be a new person in this space. The owner seems nice and passionate about his work and the courts are well taken care which is unfortunate as I would have loved to try this place out if I didn't feel I'd be judged the whole time.
