Save yourself $400.00 give or take. 5. The front office staff and physical therapy staff is very nice an great to work with. Go to a different provider or get a second opinion. Made an appointment at the Albany office with Dr. McGee on May 1st . I was told I had a fallen arch on only one foot and I needed a cast boot to isolate and physical therapy. That he could give me an orthotic but we will try this cast boot and physical therapy, and then we can discuss surgery if necessary. Right after meeting with the doctor I was ushered to the physical therapy area. I was fitted for a cast boot and charged $336 after my insurance contribution $164. I told the girl that it was extremely painful and did not seem right. She said you need to give it a few days. I no longer got home (30 min) and was in severe pain twice as much as when I arrived at the clinic. I called the office the next morning (Thursday) at 10am. They said the only person that can make a decision of "what to do next" is the doctor. I was directed to leave a message with his nurse and transferred to voicemail. I called again at 4:45pm and the receptionist said you will get a response today. Nevertheless, the call back was not received. I drove to the clinic the next morning (Friday) and was sent to the physical therapy area. They said that they needed the doctor to direct them as to what to do and he was not in on Fridays. Just in conversation with a few of the very kind physical therapy staff, I figured out on my own that this cast boot is probably the worst thing that I could have been given. I made an appointment at another local orthopedist at a different clinic. He gave me an orthotic for my foot ($80) and some exercises and I am pain free. Sorry for the book on this review. There are so many unfortunate experiences here that I wanted to share to prevent anyone else from undue treatment, frustration and cost. I still have not heard from the doctor or his nurse and its been 18 days since the message was left.

She treated me like I was a drug addict even though I was not asking for any pain meds but instead was asking for accommodations for school. She refused to assist me and said it was illegal for her to write me any note. She dismissed my concerns and watered my diagnosis down to just an ankle sprain. If I just had an ankle sprain why did I have to pay $100 for a knee brace? They charged me $100 and my insurance $100 for this knee brace. Her staff asked me interrogating questions about my follow up appointment. Again, it's not like I was asking for any medication but a note for school to get assistance to and from my classes (a service my tuition dollars pay for). I am still experiencing a lot of pain but will not be returning to this office ever again.

On August 25, 2013 I seriously injured my left leg in a work-related accident. I had a 3.5…read morecentimeter quadriceps tendon tear from my patella (kneecap), large intramuscular tears, large contusions, and a sprained right ankle. By far the worse injury I've ever sustained. Had to have the surgery, spent five weeks on bed rest, wore a hinged leg brace for over three months, and spent the following six months in rehab and physical therapy. This is where I had to attend my physical therapy sessions for one hour three days a week. Two physiotherapists in particular that helped me were Mary and Kirsty. Big kudos to those two that encouraged me. They are knowledgeable and very experienced at what they do. They mostly massaged by thigh and had me doing leg strengthening exercises. I went from being on crutches, to being on a walker, to using a cane, and finally to walking again. All thanks to those two! Now if only I could find me a nice woman to rub my thigh at home :)

I am utterly disgusted at how a simple, reasonable and very do-able request to replace a nurse was allowed (and on some level) instigated into multiple property bans AND a young lady losing her job. The worst part about it is while the apparent administrator wanted accountability for the family members, there was ZERO for her or her staff. WHYYYYY ruin lives and have family members stressed and at dis-ease when you could've simply replaced the nurse.....and you unprofessional people thought it funny?? The administrator spoke sooo ruthlessly about a patient saying he was no longer there, his eyes are staring at the wall, "he cant even talk"......I would NEVER want another family to endure such harsh treatment or a patient to be so thoroughly disregarded. This is abhorrent treatment. Tgis place should be investigated and sued IMMEDIATELY!!!
