I did not know the owners prior to shopping for a used car there and received no prior recommendations from anyone to consider doing business with them. I bought a used vehicle there last year. The warranty they offered was so unique and strong it really cinched the deal. We paid a fair price for the car. Information and forthrightness were remarkable during the shopping experience. I had two repairs that were needed and covered by their warranty. They performed both quickly and without hesitation. I plan to return there in the future as long as the ownership and policies remain the same. You won't see balloons on cars, inflatables out front and fancy tent sales. You will see average folks who are straight shooters that won't make you feel like your time was wasted and your wallet was picked clean. John Wise Ford Review 2025…read more Five-Star Service Once Again! As expected, our service experience at John Wiese Ford was excellent. I called on Monday and was able to get a Tuesday 11:15 AM appointment for an oil change. Aaron was very polite and professional on the phone and in person. While the service was being done, we went for a walk and received a timely call informing us that our vehicle needed a new battery, windshield wipers, and filters -- none of which surprised us. I gave the go-ahead for the work to be completed. When we returned to the customer service waiting area, we appreciated being able to relax and watch Fox News. A gentleman (whose name I unfortunately didn't catch) came out to explain the issues and let us know everything was almost finished. He was polite, informative, and helpful. We live in Florida during the winter and spend our summers on Lake Osakis and in Bloomington visiting our family, and for the past two years we always bring our vehicle to John Wiese Ford for service. Unfortunately I took the 1 and 1/2 hour drive to Cold Springs, only to find very limited stock of the vehicle and not at the lease priced advertised. In addition, there was very little in the way of their employees wearing mask in their display and sales area. This outfit seems to be giving a wink and a nod to COVID 19 compliance. The old bait and switch comes to mind from my experience. The stereotypical negative car dealer you see portrayed in movies is not as far fetched as you think. Went to another Chevy dealership close to home and found the vehicle and price I was looking for. Live and learn, if an advertisement sounds to good to be true, it probably is.
