First off the service was the best. I wish we would remember his name, but he made us feel right at home, working on his day "off". We had the Bowden street which I didn't like at all, but the bear paw wow, it's like a st bernadus abt 12, IYKYK. The ambiance was nice, a distillery vibe, warmth in the cold. There wasn't any food to review.

Very good cider. No food, but they had snacks!! Service was friendly and helpful. She pointed us in the direction for food very clean and professional!

Avery and Tyler are the bomb! Great atmosphere and service! The ciders and wine were a little too sweet for my liking especially after coming from a distillery. A must stop to try off the ship! read more

Alaska Legends was our last stop in Ketichkan before getting back on our cruise ship. The cider was delicious and the gentlemen behind the bar provided excellent service and conversation. We completed the Ketichkan Booze Passport here and were able to claim some really cool Ketikan glass mugs as a souvenir. I enjoyed a Dixon Cider that was peaches and cream flavored. Prices were very reasonable at $8 for a 13oz cider or $10 for a generous flight of 3. The interior of the cidery was very peaceful and clean, would highly recommend to anyone in town, even if just popping in for a drink before getting back on your ship. read more

We both agreed that The Asylum was our favorite of the 3 pubs that we visited in Ketchikan during…read morethe pub crawl. It's well known for their specialty Duck Fart shots, but it's really the owners that make it so special. We were greeted warmly by Carlos. He made this visit so much fun. Honestly, I would have loved to stay longer to sample some of the local beers. They have many craft beers on tap. I just couldn't pass up the Booty Juice cocktail. It's strong & unique. I think he said it was a local huckleberry vodka, but I could be wrong. The best part was the Duck Fart shot. Don't go by the recipe because he actually makes it a little different. I won't spoil it for you. Not all Duck Farts are created equal. Haha! My husband won a t-shirt with the pub logo. Yes, our group played a trivia game. The owner admittedly has no filter. That's really what made the whole experience such a blast. Unfortunately, it was our first stop so we had to move on. I'd definitely revisit this one again in the future.

Alaska Legends is a gem! We stopped here during our Alaska cruise, and it was such a cozy and inviting spot. I did a flight and tried the White Cran Sparkling Wine, Guava Apple, and Sweet Apple Cider--everything was absolutely delicious! The flight is a fantastic way to sample multiple options and find your favorite (though it's hard to pick just one!). The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the flavors of Alaska. We can't wait to visit again on our next trip.
