He quickly helped me find what I was looking for and was willing to take the time (over the phone!) To go over all the pros and cons of the various options in my price range. When he didn't have an answer for me he found it and called me back. In the end I was thrilled to be able to do my appliance shopping from my cozy home with the help of a VERY smart salesperson i feel genuinely wanted to do right by me and support a local business in the process. A win all around. Additional bonus? They deliver, install, repair, and even haul off the old ones AND: they had a bigger selection and more in stock than home depot.

J&H fixed it right away. Now, in 2025, the old vacuum just kept running while the switch was in the "off" position. So, back to J&H I go. My contact data was still in their system, and they knew they fixed that switch 9 years ago! This time a small plastic slider just wore out in the switch. A new switch and labor for less than $27.00 and the old vacuum might go for another 9 years, ha-ha!
