The store was very nice and full of great items. We found a lovely olive wood carving of Jesus holding a lamb, a lovely Jasper necklace, a travel shot glass from Alaska and a ski patch. The salesperson behind the counter was very nice and they take all major credit cards. I wish I had more time to shop because they had some incredible deals. I walked inside Sitka Fur, just to simply look around. I'm in Alaska, seems only fair to check out the fur. Now, I've never owned real fur before, let alone walked inside a fur gallery. As I'm checking out these beautiful coats, one coat catches my eye, and so of course I had to try it on. Tosin came up and introduced herself as I was doing so and I could tell instantly her company was a vibe. I fell in LOVE with that coat, but not so much the price. So I sadly put it back. But Tosin, she saw the spark in my eyes. She didn't give up on that love connection. I told her I would come back after I finished walking the town and would think on the price and my budget at the time. As promised, I did return, and to my surprise, Tosin had made some phone calls and was able to drop the price even more especially during the off season! I said yes to the fur coat! I placed a down deposit that day and was able to pay it off over time. Tosin was my one and only person of contact for my payments, per my preference. Not only is she hilarious, but she's also professional and down to earth. Honestly any successful company would be blessed to have her on their team! When my coat finally arrived to my home, I felt just as happy as when I first tried it on. It was absolutely perfect! And it came with a storage bag! Of course I had to call Tosin to tell her that if it wasn't for her, this coat and I wouldn't be officially together! Over the moon happy with this entire experience! There was plenty of signage telling you to not try on the merchandise and some said no pictures and some didnt. I didnt know if that pertained to reviewing pictures or dressing up and taking pics for Instagram. I didnt see anyone actually making a purchase. Mostly just checking out all the clothing and animal belts hanging up. The prices were posted and not knowing much about fur, I didnt know if it was reasonable or not.
