They…read morerecently came out to my house to give me an estimate on the plumbing that was required for my main pipe from the second floor all the way down to the basement. It's a heavy iron pipe that was put in in 1918, when my house was built, it has a hairline crack in it. It will be costly to get this one replaced with PVC piping. They took the time to discuss it with me, wrote me out an estimate at the time they were here, so I have something to refer to, we're in the ballpark, figures quoted by others and we're also thorough on explaining the costs, and what to expect. Since this is just a preliminary estimate, I am not going to hold them to anything as we all know those change once you get into the big jobs, but I am sure they know what they're doing as I feel comfortable with that. They are licensed, bonded, and insured, which is a highpoint for me. Their reviews are good from past customers. Aarons plumbing representative said showed up today were courteous, on time and respectful of my requests while I was describing the desires of my future project. I hope to continue working with this company, but I am accruing more estimates as I go on in my project. I always do my research and I know I can count on them to give me. At one point yesterday, I had 4 plumbers working at my home. 16 days ago at around 9:00 PM, my daughter and I thought we smelled gas. I was running my gas dryer, so I didn't think it was that bad. By 1:00 AM, the smell was so strong it was unmistakable. I called NIPSCO and they said to evacuate ourselves and our pets. By 1:30 AM our gas was turned off because there was definitely a gas leak. The NIPSCO person said is was probably leaking for a while. That explains why my family had been experiencing headaches and dizziness. There are only 2 companies that fix gas lines and one of them was Bob Frame Plumbing. Bob Frame Plumbing was a blast from my past. That was the company my parents always called for plumbing issues. When I called and spoke with Amanda, she told me sometimes it is just the shut off valves but sometimes it is more extensive than just that. Thank goodness she warned me. Dave R. came out and changed the shutoff valves, but unfortunately all the pipes needed to be replaced. From the appliances through the attic and outside to the meter. It took us a couple of weeks to save enough money (no lottery winnings lol). Once we had everything we needed, I called Amanda. She called the suppliers and I figured it would be several days. To my surprise they were here in 2 days! A special shout out to Amanda who was so helpful getting the team here. She truly went above and beyond and I am so grateful. And special thanks to Dave R. who was here on 2 separate days and to Tucker who was here with Dave the second time from 8:30-4:30 to replace the pipes. And to Trent and DJ who also came out yesterday for a separate issue. And last but not least Deb who takes my calls with a smile. My parents knew Bob Frame was a great company back in the 60's and that is still the case! I know if I ever need help again, they are now my go-to! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!

The tech fixed the issue and then charged OVER $800 PLUS SERVICE CALL TO REPLACE A $35 PART. $35 was the OEM cost through the company site. When Mr. RITTER was confronted he threatened to sue me while demanding he come take the furnace apart immediately on a Friday night costing me yet again another after hours service call from another company vs returning my call right away during business hours earlier in the week. Avoid at all costs.
