I have been coming here for years. The bean rice and cheese burrito is delicious and the burrito itself is huge. Easily two meals! The prices are affordable as well. I recently tried the taquito meal and the beef taquitos are delicious, but the chicken taquitos lack flavor. read more

I used to love coming to this new spot, especially for the prices, but when I went yesterday, I seen the prices went up and then after ordering and driving away, I seen the cashier gave himself a five dollar tip without asking or anything. Decided to give this place another shot. Ordered a carne asada burrito and some rolled tacos. Service was just ok and the food was good, but they have upped their prices & charge .50 cents to use cards. They gave me a receipt saying I paid in cash, but I paid with a card. The receipt said 16.16 was the total. So 16.16 plus .50 cents is 16.66. So I was curious and checked my bank account They charged 17 bucks. I know it's only .34 cents difference, but it's still fraud. I wonder how many people they do this to. Won't be returning and sad I gave them another try. read more

I was in the mood for a breakfast burrito one morning, and while driving around saw this place. A $3.99 breakfast burrito? Sure, I'll give it a try. Well, I ordered the bacon version, and let me tell you, the previous reviews here aren't kidding. The burrito was large, but inside it was about 95% potato. A few specks of egg and bacon scattered about, but that's it. So if you're hungry and in the mood for lots of potato, then you might like the breakfast burrito here. If not, and you'd prefer some actual meat and egg, go elsewhere. read more

My coworkers and I went to this place on our lunch break and I got 5 rolled tacos with a Diet Coke (which was in a can) the meat tasted insanely like a refrigerator. They pile the lettuce on so you can't see they give you absolutely no guacamole. So now my stomach hurts and I want my $12 back. read more

Giving this place 2 stars because the interior was clean, otherwise 1 star for the food quality. Wife ordered the 5 rolled taco special, I ordered the 2 chicken enchiladas. The rolled tacos were hard and dry. The enchiladas were mediocre at best. The refried beans were watery. The Mexican rice was just okay. The hot sauces provided were crap. The soft drink had barely any ice in it. You'll have to pay $1.25 for a refill. Ended up throwing away about half the meal. Should've gone to Del Taco and spent have as much, better tasting food, all the free refills, better hot sauces. Won't be back. read more

I still got sour cream even after asking for it to not even be included on the side. Also: the meat itself was supposed to be shredded chicken but it had a carne asada texture? Food was cold and there was more onion than tomato or meat. Wouldn't order again, but beans and rice and aguas frescas are all good. I bought two breakfast burritos from Alanbertos on E. Street, San Bernardino. The first was sausage. Potato, and cheese. It was overloaded with cheese and the sausage tasted strange. The second burrito was supposed to be chorizo, egg, cheese and potatoes. It did not have cheese or egg. The tortilla was burnt in several places. The chorizo was old. I didn't discover the horrible food until we got home. I lived to far to go back and return them, plus I dropped my GS at home and I planned to eat mine on my way yo work. This was a waste of $20.18. This place should be shut down. read more

This place has by far the worst breakfast burritos in town. They advertise a breakfast burrito for $3.99. When I ordered it she asked if I wanted bacon, sausage or ham. I asked for half bacon half sausage. She said ok. When I pulled up to pay she said $6.39. I was like your giant sight says breakfast burrito $3.99. She says you ordered extra meat so it's a $2.00 charge. We can't do half and half. Confused by this I just paid the lady and thought for two extra bucks there's probably gonna be a lot of meat in this burrito so cool. Nope. I got a potato burrito. No meat. Their food is really good. However watch what they charge you. I was over charged, and when I went back to have it corrected, he told me it would be the same price. I promise, if you order a asada burrito wet, it will cost more than a bean burrito wet. (A pain asada burrito is $9.99. A bean burrito is $5.15) no way can it cost the same if you make them wet. Lots of guacamole. 4 service stars only because the drive thru takes forever, & 3 atmosphere stars, because too many homeless around going up to you at the drive-thru asking for money. Had tried a few spots for carne asada fries and they just weren't it...Then I found this place. It was about a 15 min drive from my house but these fries were so worth it!!!! I come here when I want something cheap, quick, and I am in the area. My usual order is the taquitos. They now have them on chicken. Yay. Ordered the chicken taquito special, $8.49. Used to be 5 bucks, but now with inflation. Comes with guac, sour cream, cheese, and hot sauce. Presentation is okay. Taste is pretty bland and shells a little more crunchy than they used to be. Added some hot sauce and down the hatch. Used that orange Fanta to wash it down. Quick, easy, some what bland lunch complete. Will I be returning, nope. read more

My fiancé ordered a burrito and requested to add chorizo, fully expecting to pay the extra charge. However, when the burrito came out, it did not include chorizo. I ordered a combination plate, which offers either two items for $22 or three items for $27. I chose the two-item option and didn't think much of it until the bill arrived. When we reviewed the bill, we noticed that instead of charging for the combination plate, they charged us for two separate full meals (taquitos and enchiladas). On top of that, they also charged us for the added chorizo that we never received. We brought up the chorizo, and they did remove that charge. However, that prompted us to take a closer look at the rest of the receipt. That's when we realized we had been overcharged for the combination plate. When I brought this to the attention of a waitress (who, I should note, was not our original server), she told me they don't have a combination plate on the menu and quickly walked away. We waited for someone to return, but no one did. Since we had already paid and had somewhere to be, we decided to leave. Afterward, I checked their website to confirm whether the combination plate was part of the regular menu or possibly a limited or brunch-only item. It is clearly listed as a regular menu item. This means the waitress gave incorrect information, and at no point did our original server mention that the combination plate was unavailable. Instead, he allowed me to order it and then charged us incorrectly. Because of this lack of honesty and transparency, I'm giving this place a 2-star rating. I strongly encourage anyone dining here to double-check their receipt, as after reading other reviews, this seems to be an ongoing issue at this location.

You can really tell they take their time to make the food right. I also tried the asada torta, and it was just as impressive. The meat was flavorful and everything in the sandwich worked perfectly together. Overall, if you're looking for tasty Mexican food and satisfying portions, this place is definitely worth a visit. I'll definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu.
