I am visiting Springfield and decided to go get my nails done…read more Went to this place, and a male assisted me. He did greet me, and was friendly. When I went to get my nails done, he first filed down all the color which made my nails burn. So I told him I'd rather dip it in acetone to about filing down my nails. He didn't argue and dipped my nails in acetone. Then when the gel was off. He asked if I wanted manicure, I said sure. He started yanking on my cuticles instead of slowly snipping them off. My cuticles looked worse. I let it go. So then he started putting the color on. I told him he may need a new polish, since he kept getting little debris on my nails. The nail polish bottle he used was old and had a lot of debris inside it. He continued using the same bottle and finished my nails. This is the aftermath. My nails don't look pretty. I am actually going to get a cuticle set and clean up the edges myself and file down the sides. They are friendly. But not as good.

They gave me a girl fresh out of school (Autumn). I showed her a picture of what I wanted and asked…read moreif she could do it. She said yes. I explained to her. My bangs and around my face were gray and because of that I needed those areas blonde. She barely put any blonde in my hair and charged me 145 for my natural color. I was very upset and all she did was make excuses about protecting the integrity of my hair. I ask to get it fixed and was told basically I would have to go somewhere else and pay them to fix it! I am still very unhappy and extremely angry that she didn't know how to do what I asked for and proceeded to do what ever she wanted.

I decided to try my luck at getting a cut today and I don't have a regular stylist in the area. My…read morehair style is short so when it starts to get shaggy I feel like I'm risking a mullet. After driving around and popping into a few different places that either couldn't fit me in (or could... but the places didn't really appeal to me) I decided to check out the place I semi-recalled being at the corner of Jefferson and Veterans. I had to make an appointment and come back two hours later, but all the girls there were super nice. I was really pleased with the cut (which is good because last year when I risked the Cosmetology school the girl there butchered my hair and I cried for two days) and I've already made an appointed for six weeks.

Go look on the website. Excuse me I'm calling in asking you and it's your business. Maybe you need to look on the website. I will never go back to this place. I've only used the spa services at Inner Harmony, so I can't comment on the salon or other aspects…read more But so far, I love it! You MUST get a deep tissue massage, and the facials are the most effective I've ever had. Only reason they loose a star is the layout of the spa is difficult (up a flight of stairs, and I don't know if there are handicapped accessible options), and the staff who answers the phone doesn't always know what to do when you call for something other than a hair cut. The prices are very competitive, even lower than I've paid elsewhere for lesser service. Give them a try!
