RECOMMEND STAYING FAR AWAY. NASTY, CONDESCENDING, AND EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL…read more Klausner offered me and signed a flat-fee retainer for litigation representation, apparently thinking in secret he might be able to collect a settlement with just a few emails and/or phone calls to the other side. As soon as the other side broke off contact and he realized that litigation would be needed, he informed me he was going to withdraw from the case. I informed him that since he'd already portrayed himself as my representative to the other side, doing so would give them the impression that my case was weak and difficult to prosecute, thus emboldening them further. His replies were surprisingly unprofessional, and included an attempt to renegotiate the retainer for what he said would likely be much more money. When I refused since we'd already agreed upon a flat fee, he withdrew from the case, regardless of how doing so would appear to the other side. Klausner appeared to be a one-man operation where clients paid $400/hour for photocopying and other support duties normally carried out by legal secretaries. We also couldn't find an office address for him anywhere--does he work out of his home? If you want to be told by your lawyer every 5 seconds how long he's been a lawyer, or if you want your integrity and case attacked by your own attorney, hire Klausner. Here are some actual quotes from emails he sent me while representing me: "[Your opponent] is not the only one who speaks in contradictions - you do as well." "It is clear that you have no idea what you are getting into." "If you are so smart and so correct, perhaps you should represent yourself... How many litigations have you been involved in? Now that I've gotten that off my chest, I can see that you need my help." "If you think I am being condescending or offensive, you have no business being involved in such a litigation... You obviously don't like them, and if you can't handle it from me, how are you going to handle them in a deposition or at trial?" "...please do not tell me what I can and cannot do."

Regardless of how much online studies I've done and first-time homeowner classes I took, the home purchasing is both confusing and complex. It took me over a year to finally find a house and close on it and Anthony was there the whole time. He was patient, kind, tough, and never told me that my questions were either silly or dumb. This is the kind of individual you need in your corner. I cannot count how many deals he saved me from taking which would have probably bankrupted me. A good attorney helps you close on a deal, a great attorney helps you avoid a bad deal. Anthony did this time and time again. He was the voice of reason when my real estate agent and bank both where pressuring me to just move on with a deal that was not good for me. There is a reason why Anthony is a part of the District VI Ethics Committee of New Jersey, has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, and a host of other accolades. Ask him about his achievements and he will always downplay his brilliance because he is that good of a human being and is passionate about his work. I can go on and on but to simply put it, Anthony Vignier is a phenomenal lawyer and even better human being. I highly recommend his services and implore anybody looking to purchase a house, at least have a consultation with him. He is that good.
