This restaurant looked so "classic Toscana", I was almost suspicious about its authenticity. But…read moreno worries - very friendly service, good wine selection and solid food. Most parties sat outside, but a trip inside to check out the restored mill is fun while you wait. Wander around the building for a view of a small waterfall surrounded with meticulously planted flowers and groomed lawn.
Loved the picked onions and olives brought to the table with bread. Focus on meats here - chicken, lamb and rabbit come by themselves and in combination, grilled or fried. Fried rabbit was my favorite (everybody who had grilled rabbit reported it as very spicy).
Deserts are all home-made, a good mix of Tiramisu, another version of it with Nutella, fruit tarts, panna cotta, etc.
Lovely place, you will leave with a happy full tummy and pictures to brag to your friends about "this nice restaurant in Tuscany I once dined at..."
