    They upsell you services you do not need and to compound that, they then will lie to you about the cost.

    My experience here was excellent! Everything from scheduling the appointment to billing. The staff is wonderful and Dr. Thomas is great.

BUT.. their staff responsible for ordering glasses, tracking them... are HORRID. my husband ordered his glasses .... in the 7 weeks it took them to get us his glasses... we got 5 different stories on status.. 1. They have been shipped.. they will be here by Monday. 2. I dont see the order, (hold for like 4 min)... found it... they will be here at end of this week .... I think you get the picture... it was a problem at the lab.. but instead of just TELLING us that... they kept lying or telling stories on it. We give them another chance... I go in, order glasses after exam.... specifically talk about Transition lenses, what my insurance will cover. The person helping when filling out order picks a 'package'... I asked again to be sure it has Transition lenses.. she says yes.. when she asks to sign and I dont see a breakout on what the package has.. I ask again... she says its in the package. We pay... they called in reasonable amount of time, glasses are there... but guess what??? They are NOT Transition lenses.. I call, explain the issue... but she never ever put Transition on there... They now want to 'reorder' new glasses... which of course i pay ANOTHER co-pay for...

    I had lasik done a few years ago and was very pleased then I recently started seeing spots and poor…read morevision in one eye. I went in for an exam which indicated my vision had indeed changed dramatically. I was told I would be contacted in a month for another follow up appointment to see if my vision was stabalized. They never called me. So called them back to make an appointment. It took them Another two months to get me in. When. I arrived for my appointment. I was notified by that I owed $85.00 And asked why I hadn't paid the bill. I told them that I was unaware I had a bill and that I had not received a bill. They had a wrong address In there system. Although they had a wrong address, they did have my phone number and a relative's phone number for any problems or concerns. Then I as told I was scheduled for lasik preop. I told them I was only suppose to have an exam to see what my vision was and then make a plan from there. I was also told that I needed to pay either $200.00 for the exam today or the full amount for the lasik enhancement surgery of $4000.00. I said " I am not even sure if lasik enhancement is going to be the outcome. Also, I mention that the dr said in the last visit that because they had done my original lasik procedures on both eyes, enhancement procedures are at a lowered rate so I don't know how the accounting lady came up with the $4000.00 amount without consulting with the Dr. I even mentioned that at the last visit before leaving in the checkout process I asked what the charge for that day was as almost all dr visits require insurance or payment at the time of service. They told me no charge. But now they want to charge the $85.00 from the last visit. They said they would credit my account for the miscommunication. But required a minimum payment of $200.00 for today. So I canceled today's appointment as I was not prepared to pay $200.00 right then and walked to my car. Then I realized I better get an updated statement just incase I get a bill or turned over to collection. I walked back into ask for statement of my account. The reception called on the phone to their accounting side again The lady on the phone said she would mail a statement and I politely thanked her and handed the phone back to the receptionlist and told her thank you and the receptionist responded to me by telling me, " I am asking you to leave our premises now." The waiting room was full of people so I did not raise my voice, talk rudely or use profanities but I did state the facts and my concerns of witch I was treated extremely poorly. This is a major change from what I have experienced in the past from this office. I don't know what has changed in their communication procedures but feel they need to review interactions with their clients and adjust .
