First time visiting and certainly won't be the last. I highly recommend the Chicken Sambusek appetizer! It's big enough to be a dinner. Had the Aladdin's Favorite Combo for the main course. Very delicious.

This is the Aladdin's Salad-- $9.50 RIP OFF

This is the $9.50 Aladdin's Salad. This is NOT a side salad. It has exactly 2 tomato slices, 3 cucumbers, and 4 pieces of scallions on it. I had the feta on the side. Definitely not worth $9.50!!!! And, they forgot to give us our rolled.

Falafel Pita Roll, Falafel Pitza, Hummus, and Baba Gannouj

I went to the place for the first time and it is definitely amazing! I would highly recommend this. Sara, our server was super friendly and quite wonderful!

I love Aladdin's and you can find that different locations have slightly difference personalities and even the food differs a bit. This location in Highland square totally delivered. The service was fantastic, really loved our waitress. They had a nice wine selection and the food was fabulous is usual. I love the cauliflower appetiser. I could buy it in bulk and live on it. Lol. And I always get the beef shawarma roll

Not my style of good. Hummus was good and so was the lentil soup. The wraps were gross to me. Very dry.

I found this place by chance as I was looking a healthy option for lunch. I parked in the rear of the building and walked inside. I was greeted by the owner, a friendly lady who was very helpful in making suggestions as to the items on the menu (e.g., spinach pie, meat pie, hummus, baba gannouj). Seating is limited to a few tables however the store has ample space with a variety of imported products such as olive oil, cheese, beans, seasoning, and even bottles of soda! After viewing the menu posted on the wall behind the counter, I saw that red lentil soup was available and quickly made up my mind! The soup came out hot in a styrofoam cup and was a balanced savory cascade of flavor - not too thick while not watery. After finishing it not only was I satisfied, but more importantly I was spared the guilt of eating lousy. If you like Middle Eastern food and live in Akron, stop over to Sanabel Bakery and be amazed!

To echo the other reviewers, food was amazing but it really was pricey. I totally understand things are expensive and prices are going up but I was a little aghast when she gave me the total. Menu said it was $13.99 for the lentils and rice special but I was charged $14.99 and it was $2.50 for a small side of hot sauce! That and three spinach pies brought my total to $25. That's a bit outrageous for the amount of food received. That said, everything truly was delicious and the owner was friendly. At least now I know what to expect for next time!

We've ordered takeout from this little Syrian spot in Niles at least ten times now. And I don't say…read morethis lightly...there has never been an off day. Not once. The consistency alone is enough to keep us coming back, but the food itself? It's something special. Let me start with the hummus. I don't even know how to say this without sounding dramatic, but it's hands down the best hummus we've ever had. It's unbelievably smooth, rich, and somehow manages to go with everything. And yes...I'm going to say it...dip your fries in it. Trust me on that one. And order the large size hummus to take home with you. The rice deserves its own moment too. Perfectly cooked, just the right amount of richness. I'm not sure if it's butter or oil or some magic in between, but whatever they're doing, it works. It's the kind of rice you keep eating even when you're full. We usually go for the chicken over rice, which comes with peppers and onions, and it's always flavorful, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. This is not bland food. Everything has depth. We've also had the three-meat combo (lamb, chicken, and beef), and every single piece is tender and cooked just right. It all comes together with that incredible red sauce and the garlic sauce...which I always order extra because I refuse to run out halfway through the meal. Add in the pita for the hummus, and it's just one of those meals you look forward to the entire drive home. And speaking of the drive...we will happily go 35-40 minutes out of our way just to pick this up. That should tell you everything. On top of all that, it's a family-owned place, and you can feel it. Customer service is warm and thoughtful. You'll often see the husband and wife there, sometimes their kids, and I believe his mother is in the kitchen and honestly, it shows. There's something about the food that feels cared for, not just made. We've tried a few different things on the menu and everything has been great, but the dishes I mentioned are what keep calling us back. Highly, highly recommend!!

I walked in and sorry, but was not surprised to see a dirty place. The middle aged guy prob owner…read morewas sitting around in dirty flip-flops. I ordered out of embarrassment. Food was avg not fantastic and definitely not enough to bring me back for more, especially with the store conditions and some kids playing on the food counter. I just didn't get a good feeling.
