I always think back fondly to my first year, when everyone used to run into Aladdins in search of beer. They do not sell alcohol.
The staff in Aladdins have always been incredibly friendly, and I really rate their magazine selection. As well as the usual culprits you'd exect to show up in small newsagents such as this (think Heat magazine et al) they also sell trendy expensive artsy fashion magazines such as POP, Dazed and Confused, Love and i-D. They have a good selection of tinned goods and confectionary, but if it's anything filling and nutritious you're after, you're in the wrong shop. If it is just something small you're after, Aladdins is a good alternative to avoid the One Stop queues, and it is worth mentioning that their milk is slightly cheaper. read more
