The Ala Moana Pacific Center can be accessed from the Ala Moana Shopping Centers parking lot, top level. This building has restaurants, Shokudo Japanese Restaurant which is located on the street level, Bread & Butter also on the street level (Ill have to go there one day). When entering from the Shopping Centers parking lot, youll need to go up the escalators. There you will find a hair salon and jewelry shop and the security station. The building has other offices such as Vacations Hawaii, travel agency, law offices and the reason for my visit... PSI Testing Center. To enter the elevators, there are boxes near the elevator and you push in what number floor you need to go on. The screen will then tell you which elevator you need to go on. Pretty cool. The PSI Testing Center does the testing for many of the different licensing or exams thats required by the state or federal agencies. I was a bit early and while talking to some of the people, I thought I was in the wrong place cause the two ladies I was chatting with were there for the real estate exam. Not only does the PSI do testing for the Hawaii Real Estate Broker Exam but also for Crane Operators, Air Conditioning, other construction licenses and of course my exam for TSA.

Ala Moana Pacific Center can be accessed by the parking lot of Ala Moana Center. The building is basically an office building with couple restaurants on the street level, a hair salon, a travel agency, as well as lawyer offices. Vacations Hawaii is located in this building. That's the travel agency most residents use to book their flights to Las Vegas. Bread & Butter is located on the street level. Breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner are served here. I had the Margherita pizza the last time I ate at this restaurant. Shokudo Japanese Restaurant and Bar is another restaurant located on the street level. I've only been there once with a group of friends for a late night happy hour. The Law Offices of Neil T. Nakamura & Associates is located in this building. Living will and trust can be done here. They have a second location is near Pearlridge Downtown. One day I'll take a look at the directory near the escalators to find out what type of other businesses are occupying office spaces at the Ala Moana Pacific Center. 74/100

I took the Hawai'i real estate broker exam at PSI in Suite #1135 in the Ala Moana Pacific Center. It was a very confusing process. I only had to take the state portion of the exam and I thought that using two elevators to get there was far worse LOL From what I remember to get to PSI from the ground floor: Go to the first elevator then head to the 7th floor. Get off then walk to the other elevator and choose floor 11 for PSI's Suite #1135. I am glad that for now I do not have to do it again. The people at PSI are very helpful and friendly though and are a reason why this place gets an extra star. Thank you to them for being so helpful.

A very professional group of individuals. The Dr. Was very through with his explanations as well as his staff. I didn't know they have a salon as well as different shops that you can go to in the pacific center.

Security is lax, showed up after HPD already finished the police report! They need cameras and new security staff if they care

Very difficult to navigate. Very few signs. Had to take 2 separate elevators to get to my destination.

I usually park for free at Ala Moana Center by going up the Atkinson Street ramp to the top level where Macy's and Liliha Bakery are.

This is an interesting space…read more Conference rooms are a nice size. Make sure you bring any necessary connecting cables. I didn't see a bluetooth option. Plenty of tables, although some folks use them to watch movies and social media without headphones. There's a Starbucks and beer place there, but there's no streamlined way to get your free 2 hour parking. Sometimes there's an employee sitting in the area, sometimes you have to wait in the bank line. Without it, 1 hour is about $10. It's fine. Not rushing back, but a tool to use when I need it.

You don't need to have a CPB account though having one gives you the priority to make the reservations and it's super easy to do so online at https://www.cpb.bank/tidepools. Times you can reserve are from 30 minutes, an hour, 90 minutes and up to two hours. Tidepools users are able to park at Central Pacific Plaza and will be provided with two hours validation. I have been here before and just love the vibe here it's so chill yet vibrant with various folks enjoying their lunch, meeting up with others or just working on their inspirations. On this particular visit I came to check out their Tidepools Holiday Marketplace where there were many vendors selling handcrafted and unique items that I loved and was actually surprised to run into a friend Kris of Kris Hawaii who does amazing illustrations so you know it just made my day. Speaking to Kris I noticed a calming sound coming from above her and it was a wall art..."Kai nu'u o Kanaloa" and this spectacular art is synced with offshore buoys and sends it back with the sounds of the waves moving in the ocean and is in real time if you can believe that. The Christmas decor itself was just stunning so calming and beautiful I just found myself already relaxed as if I'm transported away and to keep you fueled up they do have Aloha Beer, and Starbucks Pick Up and yes that's what it's called if you use your mobile app which makes it an all around perfect place to do anything and basically everything! Thank you!

No- I don't have a business. I don't own a business. My dad had a family hobby business for us 25 years ago but stopped. I am an educator by trade and education. If you are going to look for doing business though here in Hawaii- looking in research books at the University of Hawaii is no longer the only option for you. The Manoa Innovation Center seems to have gotten some seed grant money to make a space available for those that are looking to becoming big big big entrepreneurs. DevLeague seems to have a large enough space for tech students to go a non-traditional schooling route to bypass a university degree and go straight into coding. I found this Manoa Innovation Center because they held a Hackathon. Some very helpful people have suggested that I step out of my comfort zone and join different events to talk to people outside of my expertise. So go to a Hackathon. Manoa Innovation Center seems to be doing well in the new area of 'shared space.' There are a few of these different kind of spaces popping up like Box Jelly, ProtoHub, or Agora. Manoa Innovation Center is more on the tech side - think more coding/ 3d printing/ tech space instead of open floor space. People there are smart in their fields. I am glad I went to my first event - out of the box has a whole new meaning for me now- and I'm a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer - been around the world and I thought I had seem most of it all.

The Ala Moana Building if I'm not mistaken is built in the 60's and that marvelous circular 23rd floor penthouse was once a restaurant that rotated and I can only imagine the view it must've been. I've had dentist here growing up and now currently is back with a local doctor. I understand the parking for visitors here are free though I've never taken the opportunity on it and just park nearby at the mall and walk over. Strange enough I still find many locals confused of what floor to get off the first or third as the third is sorta like a mid level and is the parallel with the Mall where I park and the first is the ground level with the Bank of Hawaii either way here you can get many appointments taken care of.
