What seemed really unclassy was that when he couldn't come up with a plan that would work for me, Todd passed me on to one of his assistants to tell me that unless i increased my down payment, they could not work it out for me. He did not have the decency to call and tell me, leave alone face to face. Left me high and dry, right at the last minute!! It was a very bad experience. fortunately for me, I was directed by someone close to me to Spencer Garrett at Compass Mortgage. Just down the road from Avenue Mortgage. Within my first visit, he found a solution, 2 weeks later I make the offer on the house and a month and a half later I moved into my dream home. It was that simple. Came close to being a disaster with Avenue Mortgage.
