If there was an option for zero stars, I would choose that option. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST APPLIANCE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! SCAM!!!
I went to purchase a washer and dryer combo ($550) from Al Cheapo's. I had a 60 day warranty and I was told the washer and dryer was only a few years old.
The washer from day one had issues of rocking back and forth banging wall to wall in my apartment. So I called Al's and they said they would pick it up and check it out.
It took them PAST the 60 days to come pick it up and charged me $75 to do so and when they showed up they realized I live on the second floor and said nope, can't bring it in, you will have to bring it to us and left. They also refused to give me back the $75 for coming to get it. It then took me a week to find someone with a truck who could bring it to them.
When I got it to them, it then took another four or five weeks of me calling non-stop to get them to fix the washer. During this time, the dryer stopped producing heat and they said there was nothing they would do because it was past the 60 days.
When I finally got a call to pick up the washer, I showed up, and between myself and two people I brought with me, we got the washer into the truck while Al and his workers stood around watching us, not offering to help at all.
I brought it home and put it in, and the washer STILL DIDN'T WORK and since it was past the 60 days Al wouldn't do anything.
So I called Steven Appliance who came out and looked at both the washer and dryer. He told us the pair of them (which we were told was a few years old) was 13 years old.
For the dryer, very single wire had been cut and re-sodded together. He said there was nothing he could do about the dryer as it was like taking 5 different dryers and piecing them together and that when they did that it shorted out the dryer board so I needed a whole new dryer.
As for the washer, every clip that was holding the washer in place was broken and again every wire was cut and re sodded together. He cleaned the filter out and said it might last another month but in the meantime I would have to deal with the banging because again this washer was pieced together from a few different washers.
I ended up buying a dryer for $150 from Steven Appliances and the washer only lasted a couple more weeks. If you need appliances I would go to Steven. I have been using my dryer for a couple of months now no issues, and he has a 6 month warranty and genuinely cares. Not like Al's Cheapo Depo Appliances who is a SCAM ARTIST at best.
