Alvise Ballarin, the current owner/chef of this restaurant run by his family for the past 50 years, has wonderful passion and talent for dough-making and baking in different styles. We tried a newer creation on his thick yet very light-on-the-inside/crispy-on-the-outside crust topped with DOP tomatoes, mozzarella, turnip tops, anchovies, sundried tomatoes and basil. Magnifico!
