Date of visit: January 22, 2026…read more A fun little place in Grafton to wait while your husband has a procedure down the road at Aurora. Okay, you don't have to have that specific scenario to enjoy this cozy spot! You could tell that this was a big meeting place for the locals and regulars, though despite being neither, I didn't feel out of place or viewed askance, which I really appreciated. My Salted Caramel Mocha was a thing of rare beauty and joy, and I went ahead and signed up for their loyalty club at the same time (who doesn't like freebies in exchange for your soul/data?). If you want to work out of this location, make sure you have a fully charged battery as there are few outlets in the inner cafe area; the outer area is better equipped that way but was decidedly lacking in heat and not a place I could stay for any larger amount of time! Since I was there a while, I also went with a peanut butter cake, though I was disappointed to find out that you earn no points on food, just coffee. The cake was very good but also very rich, and I wish that had water on hand to help me finish it!

I love their speciality coffee drinks, which go beyond simply adding this syrup or that one; they're genuinely creative and suit the season or holiday well. Whether you're looking for a traditional macchiato or a fancy beverage with whipped cream and chocolate, you can get it here and know that it will be delicious. This is a perfect place to catch up with friends, get some work done alone, or just read a book. The shop itself is more spacious than a lot of coffee shops in the area and retains that classic old brick industrial building charm, situated on the first floor of the historic Grafton Arts Mill (which you can also check out if you want to see some great local art!)

The customer service counter had motorcycle windshields which I thought was clever. I appreciated that the staff member let me know the bathrooms are on the first floor so I went there first before heading to the start of the museum on the 2nd floor. So many motorcycles to see! It was fun to see how they have progressed over time. The engine wall was beautiful, very aesthetically pleasing. I most enjoyed the displays that included anecdotes from the riders. If not going on 4-1-4 day, the museum is $25.

Parking is free. The museum is a 2 story structure and costs $25 for an adult and less for kids. I would budget about 2 hours to go through it and I thought it was well worth the time and cost. Yes this museum is all about motorcycles and The Motor Company (that's what employees call Harley Davidson) that became an American institution. The museum starts on the 2nd floor and then you finish on the 1st floor. They have cycles starting with their first one (1903) all of the way to the present ones (2026). All of the displays are well done. Open 10 am to 5 pm everyday.

First off, the gentleman that helped us out was really nice and really knowledgeable. He explained that most if not all of their stock is hand made by local glass artists. Second, they have a lot of really beautiful pieces that you might even buy just to smoke tobacco out of (probably not the intended use), and their durable too. He even tossed a few onto the concrete floor to prove it. Plus, they have a few great noveltyish artsy pieces too (check out the hammer). Also, they have some really nice one-of-a-kind glass wine stoppers too, and some other non-smoking handmade glass stuff as well. They also offer the occasional class on glass bead-making, and they may have a class on glassblowing too. Even if you're not big on the use of herbal supplements, so to speak, this place is pretty cool to check out for beautiful hand-blown and hand-shaped glass.

Wonderful store, furthermore the story of how I came across it was wonderful. We were in Milwaukee looking for glass. Originally we had stopped at a competing store within a block or two of the Dark Arts store. (Forgot name of other store, but Dark Arts actually helps stock them, and they are overpriced.) The manager, to me and my friends utter amazement saw us waiting for the store to open. In a wonderful twist of fate he offered us a ride to his store, insisting they were cheaper and had a wonderful business going. Of course I hopped in! These people were obviously not some creep in milwaukee looking for someone to mug. We got to the store, saw some amazing artwork in the store, amazing glass pieces locally made. If you're reading this review and wondering if it's worth it, IT IS. VISIT! They even have a referral program, you refer a customer to them and have them mention your name you get percentages off your next purchase! Isn't that neat or what!?!? (No, I'm not in any way affiliated in family or friendship to the owners of this store in case you're wondering. I live in Lake Mills, these people inhabit Milwaukee.)
