Sometimes you want to give more than five stars and this is one of those times. This restaurant is in the tiny town of Cesana in Turin. It is owned for generations and owned plus run by two brothers and a sister. One brother is host and server, one brother is pizza chef and the sister is chef de cuisine however they all work together all the time. The atmosphere was amazing. Very friendly and welcoming people not being bothered by our loud and over excited group.
For starters we ordered sparkling water (if you have been to Italy you know this is serious business and super delicious water), a carafe of white and red wine. Breadsticks and bread were complimentary.
The we ordered different dishes to start with. We had the gnocchi, chickpea soup, pappardelle, spaghettini. For main everyone picked a different pizza. Even we were full we then all ordered desserts too. And digestivo liquors. Every single item was outrageously delicious. Thé Italian experience. And coming from the USA with massive inflation, you almost feel guilty ALL of this food and wine came down to only 28 euro per person!!!! This family deserves to raise their prices because this is a top notch Italian experience. read more
