santorini is a greek bar and restaurant in salzburg's old city center. it is a small place with…read moresome tables outdoors in summer. the owner and the staff are greek and they are very friendly though sometimes a bit slow due to big crowds in the small place. the food is typically greek, kinda heavy, but nice and always fresh. the prices are salzburg average and the greek beer mythos seems to be the best-seller along with lots of ouzo. the later the evening, the louder the music, so i recommend going there earlier in the evening while you can still talk to each other. sometimes the place is very smokey - getting a table outdoors is usually the best thing to do. the crowd is very much dominated by lots of year-long repeat guests which creates a kinda family-like atmosphere - if you go there with someone who is part of it. santorini might not be the best address to go out in salzburg, but it is definitely worth paying a visit, especially if you like greek music :)
