There are birch trees everywhere, to simulate that you're eating outdoors. The burgers were good, but nothing spectacular. It is my 3rd choice for burgers in Amberg, I won't list the other two on this review though. The great thing about this place that the others didn't have were the selection of sauces at the table. My favorite was the "orange senf soße", or orange mustard sauce. I had a Hans im Glück burger on sourdough bun. Their fries were also steak cut fries and I had them with avocado cream (pretty much guacamole)

First time in Amberg and went on a Sunday…read more Lots of available parking, streets arent crowded. This tavern was right next to my parking. They open right at 1130 on time. Was sat and waited on immediately. Ordered #70 but wasn't familiar with the items. It was all delicious! Will come again for sure. -1 You must pay in cash here.
