Very punctual, professional, & courteous. However, those aren't all of the words to describe the Akron Metro employees & their supervisors: I stepped onto Bus 2 with my backpack & (my bag with my groceries that I purchased in between shifts & my money), & swiped my all day pass that I had purchased before my shift earlier that morning. I stood at the front of the bus until I arrived at the RKP Transit Center. I had worked one 24 hour shift & (2) 12 hour shifts with about one hour of sleep. I was very tired. I arrived at the RKP Transit Center as Bus 61 was leaving. I saw the supervisor & asked if he could stop Bus 61 so I could run to it & ride it back to Cleveland. The supervisor contacted the driver of Bus 61/Mark/Marc who then stopped Bus 61. The supervisor then offered to drive me to the bus. When I got onto Bus 61, I took off my backpack & my bag that had my money in it...except I didn't have my bag. I immediately told the driver Mark/Marc who contacted Bus 2. The female driver of Bus 2 immediately checked her bus & stated that there wasn't a bag on the bus. I then contacted my work. My co-worker checked & stated that I didn't leave my bag at work. At the same time that I remembered that I left my bag at the bus stop before I stepped onto Bus 2, someone stated on the radio that my green Whole Foods bag was at the RKP Transit Center. Mark/Marc then dropped me off at a bus stop near a hotel where I then got onto a bus that was heading back to the RKP Transit Center. Mark/Marc also gave me the $1.25 so that I could ride that bus back to the RKP Transit Center. I am very thankful/grateful to the individual who returned my bag, (all of my money was in my bag), & to the the Akron Metro driver Mark/Marc who reacted & took action before I finished my sentence that I didn't have my bag with my money in it. I have tried to pay the $1.25 back to Mark/Marc by giving it to the supervisor & directly to Mark/Marc whom have refused to accept it. I will find a way to give that money back to Mark/Marc even if I have to drop it in his lap as I am stepping off of bus 61 the next time that I ride it with him.
