I am a 67 yr. old combat veteran with tinnitus and hearing loss in both ears. I recently recieved hearing aides from the VA but was denied disability as service connected so I turned to these people for some help with "just a letter" from one of the doctors here.
At first...oh yea we can help. Then...what type of insurance do you have? I only have Medicare Part A...well then there true colors came out.
It's going be $200 to $400 for the office visit, and they'll want to do a hearing test also and EVERTHING HAS TO BE PAID IN FULL UP FRONT!
When I voiced my concern, the reply was: Well they're "Specialists"
WELL...SO WAS I WHEN I WAS AN 18 YR OLD AND IN COMBAT,
MAYBE I OUGHT TO SEND THEM A BILL FOR MY SERVICES!
