I have been at this school as a freshman back in 2024-2025. That school is not good for me because…read moreafter 10 minutes after you have use the restroom or something you have to do like the nurse for example, they can't let you in the freshman cafeteria unless they just open the doors instantly for you. Instead they just let you starve and the worst part about being on campus is that they have the big caged metal doors closed and they can't open them until lunch is over or they just open them 3 minutes after lunch is over. They used to let you have 7 minutes to get to your class, now you only have 5 minutes and if you walk from a class that is far away from your last class and the last bell just rang, they have you get a tardy and if you got 2, you would go to I.S.S.! Because how are you supposed to get to your next class from K Hall to L Hall for example and if you walk your normal speed, they make you get a tardy pass. your 2nd one will be I.S.S.! Also, I need to talk about the buses. The athletic side is okay, but when you leave the main building to get to the buses, they have the little yellow barriers to prevent you from going on the right side of the road when they are on the left side. They are not gonna be on the right side anyways because they never go there except for when they pull over and they have this sign that says "if you go under the barrier, you will get ISS or OSS (out of school suspension). Like it's just a barrier, they don't need to take it so seriously. My bus was the reason why I got home at 6 one day because the bus in the very very front wouldn't move and we had to wait at the school for nearly half an hour on the buses till the first driver moved after those 30 minutes. About the restrooms: The staff says you can't go during the first and the last 15 minutes of class. If it was an emergency, some teachers won't let you go because they have to follow the policy, which is fine, but students need to use the restroom before the 15 minute mark because they can't hold it in for too long, but guess what. They closed off all of the restrooms, even the ones in L Hall. The school's policies are just pretty depressing and unfair to be honest.

There is an amazing view of the downtown skyline from the track and it's right next to the river. What a neat place for a high school. The track is standard and enough surrounding light at night that you can see where you're going. Ample parking along the street and parking lot so it's all very convenient.

My choir was award winning and we were invited to sing all over Texas, and the previous choir before me sang at Carnegie Hall. From an academic standpoint, I was able to take several high school courses like algebra, Spanish 1 and 2, and keyboarding. The teachers were always supportive and really cared about students. One of my only complaints would be administration. The principal is a very fake, disconnected, cold, uncaring being. She doesn't seem to have any sort of regard for student's or teacher's well being. Overall though, I grew a lot at Fulmore, and it enabled me to get in to good high schools like LASA and McCallum. I also met amazing peers.

terrible school. i've been going to bailey for 2 years and it's almost the end of 7th. councilors…read moreare the worst. they say they will take things "seriously" but the don't unless it's life threatening. i understand they think that's more important but the small things can lead up to endangerment. i had a boy call me a fa**ot 5 times and it took them 5 weeks to take care of it. not to mention that boy had no consequences at all. not even lunch detention, even when i mentioned when he was bullying a kid with autism. the councilors really don't care. i have bad ADHD and people talk a lot in class and bully me and when i went to the councilors for help and explained thoroughly they called me "lazy." i don't trust the councilors with anything. also a very small percentage of the staff is kind to their students. i had a piece of candy and a teacher grabbed my wrist and dumped it in the trash can. when i reported the incident she said "if you complain to the principal i'll give you a referral." mind you i reported it 10 times to the principal, vice principal, and other head staff. guess what happened? nothing. kids get bullied constantly and picked on for whatever. i don't even feel safe at that school. in 6th grade i had a teacher yell at my class of 5 students who were very kind every day even when we completed our work and listened. we weren't talking or anything. he yelled at me for asking where to submit my assignments. also he called our class "trash" and "r*******" and me and several students reported each over 5 times. guess what happened? not anything until the end of the year. not to mention some substitutes are homophobic and very rude. next topic, they have terrible pests and don't pay to get rid of them. rats behind the bleachers, scorpions, and tons of cockroaches!!! anyway, if you read this, would not recommend to send your kid here. it's terrible and not a healthy environment.

He also told me that there were a lot of favoritism in that teacher, and he said that manly all the kids of his class that were great in learning that had good grades and atitude she cared about but for students that also includes my son she really gived them the equal care or way of learning , and she also on the first day of school didnt pay attention on my sons name for the bus he was assigned that was closest to my location, and she said my sons name to ride on a different bus. our full family was scared cause we didn't knew were he was then we found him in the school getting carried by a mother. now in 1st grade, it was great no drama no problems, but the cuncern was manly in the teacher. cause she wasn't really great at her job of teaching. we really didn't like her for her way of teaching. and now 2nd grade, my son told me the teacher was not that good at her job. She was all the time in her phone during events and when my son and his classmates had worksheets in stead of helping she was in her phone, and know 3 grade, This was the least favorite year of my son, he had 3 teachers. her main teacher had a lots of problems with him. Now for 4th grade, it was really normal he had 2 teachers. the 2nd teacher he told me that was the best of his intire life, she was kind, treated everyone equally and great to make a chat with her, she also helped people when needed, she gived them a lot of homework so that they could get better, he also kinda liked his main teacher the only problem was that he kinda got scared when she got angry. and that is it for kipp, not really recommended he told me that it was rare to find a nice great teacher.

While I can't post about what it's like to go to college at UT (Austin), I can post about experiences I've had. The school which was founded in 1883 is recognized as a top college in the country. It often falls under the category of "the new Ivy League". I have been on campus for everything from protests, the annual Longhorn run, college & alumni-affiliated events, strolling the campus, and a few other things. It has always been a wonderful experience. Faculty, staff, and students alike all boasting their Longhorn pride. Hook 'Em Horns!!! What an extraordinarily beautiful campus for strolling from the lush greens to incredible architecture that's also stood the test of time. Sculptures and artwork adorn the campus throughout, there's always something new to see. Sunday strolls around the campus grounds are one of my favorite things to do.

This is an Episcopalian school that does a beautiful job of making students of diverse religious backgrounds feel welcome and accepted to include students from non-religious families. They offer multiple sports, clubs, and fine arts programs. The tuition is not for the faint of heart, it is costly when compared to other private schools however, it is worth the expense. Most private schools are just like public schools minus the larger classes. St. Stephens not only sets high expectations for their students, they set high standards for their teachers. This in my opinion is what sets them apart from other private schools and public schools. If you have a child who is less academic or perhaps more into athletics you may want to send them to another private school or public school. If you have a child that is hungry for knowledge or wants to be challenged St. Stephens is the school for you. Down side here is the high cost and though it pains me to say it, the cafeteria food is mediocre but hey you can always pack a lunch!
