Here, you can find pretty much everything from porcelains, cutlery, old grandma-ish decoration, lamps, furniture, books and tons of clothing. If you're lucky like me, you get to score a Harry Potter-ish black wool cape that is made by rather famous Irish tailor in Dublin :) for 300 SEK, but most of the time it's hit and miss with this second-hand shop (like I said, not vintage!) I like to go to this place to see what kind of "treasure" they have hidden. Most of the times I come out empty-handed but once in awhile, I hit jackpot and found something nice for myself :)

Since…read moreTrelleborg has a nice walking street just in front of this shop, we used to come here for our daily groceries. It's an ICA. That means it's a chain, but a fairly good one. Fresh products, nice selection of fruit and veggies as well as meat (at least in the bigger stores). Prices are fair and the staff is friendly. Definitely a good place to stock up on your groceries. There's a parking right next to or you could look for a (free) spot along the street or on the big parking lot on the corner of Nygatan and Olivia Nordgrens Gata.

The Malmo Konstall is one of the largest modern art exhibition spaces in Europe. I went as part of Malmo Nordic 2013 to see "24 Spaces - A Cacophony", which featured quite a few non-commercial artists. The exhibition itself was great, but I also really enjoyed the exhibition space spread out over one sprawling floor. Also notable: a totally respectable English book selection in the store and a charming lunch spot / outdoor cafe. The vibe is relaxed; you can take your time or whizz through things, both models without judgment. Just how I like to take in my dose of art. Yelp note: a lot of construction around the Konsthall currently (summer 2013) but be persistent! It's harder to see the signage, but worth the persistent effort.
