Arthur and the gang at AJ's put on one heck of a show for my wife's 40th birthday at the end of June 2010 great lighting rig, great PA and fantastic choice of music (except the Boney M tracks but that was my wife's choice!) The set-up was perfect for the legendary 'Dead & Buried' band and and the disco. The team helped the evening flow flawlessly. I cannot recommend AJ's highly enough if you read this and are looking for a great DJ then look no further than these guys. The music was excellent, so many of my guests said the dj was brilliant and that they would book him if they ever needed a dj. The dance floor was never empty and he managed to play all that I had asked for and he even puts out request slips for guests to have their favs played too. Arthur and his team were brilliant, they could not do enough for us, everyone was up dancing, everyone had a brilliant night (still talking about it now), we did all the traditional wedding things, first dance, cutting of the cake, speeches and the traditional circle goodbye, even threw my bouquet. Arthur made it feel just like a wedding reception. We had a CD from Cyprus which Arthur copied and played as many songs as we asked for. Nothing was too much trouble for them, my only regret is that we didnt by them more drinks as they really worked hard and deserved it. We booked Arthur for our wedding at the end of May and he definitely did not disappoint. Both himself and his other dj were fantastic. Aj's were definitely the best disco we'd seen in a long time. Both guys were very friendly. Things didn't exactly run to time like we'd arranged but this was not a problem for Arthur. He was very accommodating to all our needs. All my guests commented on what a fantastic disco it was. The light show, video screens and music were exactly as he'd said they would be when we initially spoke on the phone. Obviously being a wedding we had people of all ages present and any requests were satisfied. We would definitely recommend AJ's for any event/party, nothing is too much trouble. They did an excellent job, keeping the dance floor full at all times, knowing exactly what it takes to get people of mixed ages dancing. Their read on the tempo and what was needed was second to none. The equipment was first rate too, having to set up in a relatively small area was no problem for them. read more
