I was very happy with the owners, as well as the staff I met. The ambiance has a rustic, edgy feel…read moreto it. The cashier counter is actually made out of a car hood, but done tastefully. There is plenty of wood throughout, but enough steel to give it more of a trendy feel. They offer massages, manicures, and there are pedicure and hair dye stations tucked away, so if you require those services, you're not parading through in front of all the guys getting their hair cut in the 8 or 10 seats in the center of the shop. My stylist was very personable, but not like the "fake" nervous chat you get from someone who just graduated. You can get in and out within 20 minutes or so, and they really do a great job. The cuts can be pricey ($25 or more), but since it was opening week, they knocked it down to $18. Definitely going back. I want to keep my man-card, so I'm still on the fence with the massage and the pedicure, but I'm all in for another cut!

Had to wait a hour to get my hair done and I asked for a trim. I never went to cosmology school but…read moreI'm pretty sure 7 inches is not a trim, my hair was 10 inches but now it's 3 inches, I'm very upset cause Im getting married in a week and i don't know how I'ma get married to my fiancé looking like my hair is throwing up gang signs. The whole vibe was off too because the person who was doing my hair kept talking about gay furry porn which I find highly inappropriate because my toddler and fiancé were right there. I don't recommend for families or people looking to get a decent haircut.

It is a barber shop not a salon. Rick is the barber. I have been going to him for over a year…read morenow. He does a nice job cutting your hair. He offers some nice extras such as straight edge razor neck trim, eyebrow trim at no extra charge. You can, also, get a straight razor shave and he even offers facials (additional fee) if that is your thing. The shop is open 7 days a week 8am - 8pm (closed holiday weekend such as Labor Day, Memorial Day). By appointment of walk in. The shop is right off the Loveland trail behind Paxton's Grill at W. Loveland in Historic Downtown Loveland. Gigi is the shop mascot (Rick's dog). Also, I know he is looking to add additional barbers, since he pretty much works the shop 7 days a week himself now. So you may not find Rick if you go in on the weekend as he brings on new barbers.

A great barber for a great price, what more could you ask for?…read more The first thing I noticed was going into Cutman was how 'cool' the place felt when you walked in. You can tell that they put in a lot of work in making the place feel like somewhere you want to be. I got a cut and a shave for under $40 which is a great price for the quality of the cut. This barber knows what he's doing and you can tell that he wants you to walk out with an amazing haircut. He puts in work to be a master of his craft and you can tell as soon as he chooses his weapons of choice. Make sure you book a reservation! He fills up quick so there's no guarantee if you walk in - however he tries to accommodate as much as he can. After coming here for over 6 months and working with three stylists, I can confidently say these…read morestylists are like Midas; their work turns your hair into gold. I found this place on Google after searching for an elevated experience - gotta take care of your self every once in a while. Entering the salon leads to an immediate lounge area with refreshments currently holding water, coffee, and sodas. I think there used to be beer? The seats are very comfortable and a TV to provide entertainment. The atmosphere is relatively open save for the individual stylists' areas which house privacy. A number of haircut options allows for a customizable experience. One can add on additional services like facial, massage, or nail care for example. I have tried the platinum cut a couple of times and have turned into a believer. A time intensive experience that makes one feel well taken care of by the end. For stylists, I have primarily worked with Jamie but also Elena and Danielle. Every single one of them have understood my hair. It is cut masterfully and grows in well. This last point is one I'd emphasize as really the majority of people who have cut my hair in the past fail to maintain any attention to detail. The only drawback that I have noticed here is that the online system is confusing. Additionally I have struggled with working with some people over the phone to get a reservation. That being said, the people who were disrespectful over the phone have been phased out out appropriately replaced. Great place, worth the extra drive and money!
