Worst experience! I had called to get an estimate on ig glass and the lady on the phone Kim had the worst attitude she was rude, and unhelpful. For Kim being apart of management I was shocked on how this business still grows with lack of good communication between customers and employees specifically manager wise. Customer service is terrible. We walked in and was not greeted, even though someone was at the reception desk. We looked at hardware for over 30 minutes and had questions. My husband tried to get someone to help but, the questions were never answered and there was no effort to help. However, the woman working - I believe she was the manager, asked my husband to help her move a table to another customers truck. I was taken back by the request - My husband helped with the table in hopes that someone will finally give us the help that we needed. After the table was loaded the woman went about her other business. When my husband returned back to me - I told him that I didn't want to give them our business and that their customer service was incredibly poor. We will never go back here. Very disappointed. Recently I ordered a certain size glass with you. I now use handicap parking if available, but I did not park in your handicap parking places, way too far from the front door. Surely you can move the handicap parking spaces to the front door, or will you tell me why you won't do that? So, I am parking in front of the door, and I have a sample of the plastic project I want the glass for. I am having trouble with my balance, and I see your employee Yolanda coming to help me. That was very much appreciated! We go to the counter, and I speak with Kim. I explain what I need,, and I also ask for a quote for cutting the piece of plastic. She goes to ask your glazier, and she comes back with an unreasonable quote in my opinion, something like $60.00. I estimate your glazier could make the cut in 10 minutes. Does your company have a guideline for charges? Yolanda helped me back to my car. Again, that was most appreciated. When I returned to pick up the glass, she again came to help me. She has a gift with people, your customers. Seems that Customer Service is more critical than ever before. I have looked at all your reviews. When I called back a week later they didn't have the order on file! They said I never placed an order! Debbie and company were a great help when I came to them with a picture of a bathroom mirror I wanted to replicate. They were very patient with me as I continually researched ways to make the mirror just right and were very resourceful in finding the necessary parts needed to achieve the modern look I was going for. I guess because I didn't have a "million" dollar project, they just couldn't be bothered. Wish they would have just said so from the beginning. I walked in on a Thursday looking for glass shelves to be installed in my master bath. I was told they couldn't give me an estimate on the spot even though I had measurements because I wanted them to install. In other words if I was going to pick them up from the store and install them myself, then they could give me an estimate. Nope, I wanted them to come measure and install, so I was told someone would be there on Friday (8 days later). Of course, she couldn't tell me when on Friday... I would have to call on Thursday and they would then give me an estimate of when someone would be at my home. She took my name and phone number and put me on the list. Barely frustrated at this point, but I'm flexible and was willing to work with that. So I called on the following Thursday and the person who answered said he couldn't find my name on the list. I explained my visit on the previous week and he handed me off to some other person. She (I think her name was Karen) said I was scheduled for Friday between 2 and 4 pm. Also said she would email some information to me about the different brackets used to hang glass shelves. Never got the email... No one ever showed up on Friday... No one ever called to say why... Basically, just lousy service provided by incompetent people. Found another local glass company that was able to give me a bid over the phone!!! Imagine that! And sent a rep (who was courteous, on-time, intelligent and knew answers to my questions) to measure two days later. Not only that, but an employee at their store called me to say he was on his way and would be at my home in 45 minutes. Delightful! They called me-- I didn't have to call them. I would love to name them, but I'm not sure this will be published if I do. I'll just say it starts with Mansfield... So bottom line, I didn't exist for Ajax Glass and now they don't exist for me. Will never use them for any more projects on this or future homes. read more

This company was recommended by my contractor, who is based out of Ft. Worth. The crew came out on 9/2 to measure the new shower for glass. They returned on 9/23 to install the custom glass. One piece (out of 3) was installed before they realized they had measured the largest piece wrong. Ajax did not call me to work out getting a new piece of glass; I had to call them to find out what was going on. They assured me that it would be a "rush" job and would be ready in about 1 week. I did not EVER receive a phone call from Ajax to update me on the progress of this order. NEVER. I had to call daily to find out what was going on; having to call was annoying enough, but what made it even worse is that one of the receptionists was quite rude and very unpleasant to talk to. The new glass was finally installed on 10/9 (TWO AND A HALF WEEKS LATER); I would hardly call this a rush job, since the original glass only took 3 weeks to cut. The original order included the Enduroshield treatment to prevent water spots. Considering the way this entire job had been going, I had a sneaking suspicion that the new glass would not be treated and asked the installer, "what do I do if the treatment is not on this new piece of glass?", at which time he told me I would need to contact Ajax. He never took me to the glass to do a test to show that it had been treated. Once we were able to use the shower, it was more than obvious that the new glass was not treated (but the original pieces were). I called Blake on Monday, 10/12. He tried to make me sound like I didn't know what I was talking about and that just because the water wasn't being repelled off of the new glass like it was the original glass didn't mean it wasn't treated. Come on, REALLY?? He also tried to make it sound like he talked with the installer and that he had tested the glass, until I told him about asking the installer point-blank about what to do if the treatment had not been applied. (Seems like he would have shown me at that time that is was treated or not.) At that point, Blake made sure that it was alright to give my information to the vendor who was responsible for treating the glass. ONE entire week goes by (with ME calling AJAX almost daily) without a call from the Enduroshield folks. Finally, on Monday, 10/19, I called Blake and left a very heated voicemail asking why I had not even received a phone call, let alone had the problem resolved. He returned my call and assured me he would get to the bottom of things. I had a phone call within an hour from the tech who ultimately came out to apply the product to our glass. So, if you enjoy making angry phone calls daily to get things done, this is your company. I understand that things go wrong and mistakes happen; that is forgivable. What is not forgivable is a company that really couldn't care less about keeping their customers happy and informed. I don't know a lot of people that can just be home on a whim to accommodate repeated visits by installers. My husband who doesn't give a flip about customer service (unless they mess with his money) has told everyone he knows, including the installers, that we will NEVER do business with this company again. We will also tell all of our friends what terrible customer service to expect should they use Ajax. I can only assume that once they get your money, they consider their part of the bargain complete. ***The only good thing we can say about this company is that Daniel & Drew were wonderful installers, hence the one star. read more

So when I dropped off my frames the next morning they told me it was going to take 2 days. I was a little disappointed but I understood. 3 days later, I go to pick up the frames and was told they weren't finished. Ajax installed a custom shower door in our guest bath that was cut incorrectly. A service call to remeasure was scheduled but Ajax never showed up despite repeated calls. Unless you are a large builder, it appears Ajax will push you to the bottom of the list without even the courtesy of notification. I used Ajax because I knew Arthur Moses. Buddy Moses just might be the most unprofessional business owner I have had the displeasure of contracting with. I did business with his brother for a decade with flawless customer service and production. I ran two complete failures of both with Buddy. He's rude, a bully and doesn't have the slightest concept of how a customer should be treated. His team doesn't communicate effectively and their quality controls are non existent. Most recently they invoiced us incorrectly, we brought it to their attention that their invoice was lower than the estimate, they said it was accurate and we paid. Today we were threatened with litigation if we didn't pay them the exact amount we notified them that their invoice was short. All of this being after years of loyalty from our company. It will be a cold day in Hell before I do business with them again and I will go out of my way to let everyone in my circles know just exactly what type of business they run and what kind of reprobate Buddy Moses is. read more

We had an excellent experience from start to finish July 2015 with the measurement and installation of a single sheet of glass for our walk in shower. They even pointed out that the mounting surface was level and needed a slight slope toward the drain.
