It's cute store with nice things. A great place to buy gifts. I like the oils and the oil burner. And the sage is nice too.

A good friend who is practicing witchcraft introduced me to this store and it was more than I expected. Not only does it sell various witch items, but it also sells nontoxic, zero waste products like soaps, lotions etc. And many of them support other small businesses. My favorite part is the gum ball machine that had small tarot cards inside. While I'm not well versed in this, the owner kindly explained the meaning and it was rather accurate to me at the time. So even if witchcraft isn't something I practice, I had a taste about a different culture by being here and browsing the unique items!

Coyote Supple Co is located inside the brick building, upstairs, in a small suite. Unless you are…read morespecifically looking for this eco-conscious, witchy shop, then you will probably walk by without even noticing. This tiny shop is worth a quick stop if you are in this corner of Midtown even if you are not super witchy. The shop keepers were super friendly and welcoming! There were 3 things that stood out to me about this little shop. 1) I was surprised to find a pretty decent selection of eco-conscious bath and home products, including Stasher Bags in various sizes and colors. 2) There is a TerraCycle recycle box for difficult to recycle containers (like makeup). I wish these were available at more businesses! These recycle boxes are not free to the businesses that have them, so keep that in mind. 3) Griselda, the Tarot card gum-ball machine! 50 cents will get you the cutest miniature tarot reading. There is a handy book next to the tarot-ball machine so that you can interpret your card. In addition to my favorite things above, Coyote Supply Co also has spiritual incense and candles, eco-conscious cleaning products, health and beauty products, and small gifts like cards, pins, and stickers.

Thanks to Google search I found the correct address in midtown. * I suggested an edit for the business and the address on Yelp is now up to date. I came to Crystal Cove in search of rings, bracelets, and earrings. I have enough crystals in other forms to sink a ship, but it's always nice to browse. I was greeted by the lady behind the counter. She did some small talk asking me about how my holiday season was. Then she gave too much information about her and her family. She said I was free to look around and to let her know if I needed any help. She gave me a tiny wicker basket for shopping. The place is very small and it is packed with glass shelves so I had to be mindful of how I moved around the store. There were signs letting you know that you were being watched and to "Smile". I get it, tiny items can easily be shoplifted, but the cameras kind of take away the zen feeling. I found a case with a few trays of rings that I wanted to look at and try on. I asked the employee for help. At that time there were at least two other shoppers in the store and it was getting a bit packed. So I took the tray to the main counter thinking that way I would have more space to try on the rings and she could keep a closer eye on the other customers. She told me no. So she and I huddled next to each other as I tried on rings under her watchful eye. It felt very awkward. I quickly chose a ring, paid, and left. While I was checking out she again asked me how my holiday was. She also made a negative comment about the city of Reno. I don't plan on returning. I can find crystal jewelry and the farmers market and while I am traveling.

They had different crystals, lavender, sage, etc. There's an upstairs selling books as well (which I didn't get to see). But overall such a cute experience definitely coming back soon

I recently visited Mystic Rose. I would give the ladies working there five stars for their customer…read moreservice and giving us information regarding their classes. (You can find their class schedule on the web and I would definitely say that is worth a look-see!) There is parking right in front of the store and it is just off S Virginia St, easy to find. The reason for the three stars has to do with inventory. This is not a large shop so one has to consider space available for merchandise. However, there was not much of a selection and the prices were fairly high. I realize that it is becoming harder to run a brick and mortar store front everyday, but I found the merchandise to be "stale" and dated. (ie: no latest tarot decks, books, etc.) I also felt like if I were to return in a month or so, it would look much as it did the day I visited, with the same merchandise in the same place. It may be that "Mystic Rose" concentrates more on the classes and readings and such, but that's not why I came. I miss the well-stocked metaphysical shops of the past and would love to see a sample tarot deck or book before I purchase it... I guess those days are gone.

I…read morewas lucky enough to visit Mystic Rose just before Christmas, simply because the Carson City friend who picked me up at the airport needed to stop at this store. I had time to peruse the selections thoroughly. I particularly enjoyed the large selection of crystals, and the availability of guides and books that explain how to use the crystals. I ended up buying a hunk of Angelite, and I'm happy that I did. Their selection of divination cards is small, but, again, a nice variety. In particular, I was pleased to see that they carry the Animal Wisdom Cards. I complimented the store owner on this, and we had a nice conversation about the uses and power of this particular deck. There are a few more items upstairs. There is a large second room that is used for classes. I only had a few short days in Nevada, which precluded taking any classes. If I were in Reno for a longer visit, I would definitely want to sample a class or a reading. Small, yes, but a solid, representative selection of various items. You'll never find everything in the world here, but you'll get a nice variety and/or introduction.

If you've never had an aura cleansing/energy tune-up, you're totally missing out. Seriously, when I…read morefeel like I'm in a funk for no good reason, I try to get my arse over to the RPI, ASAP! For those close-minded folks--It's not devil worship, it's not blasphemous, it's not a bad thing at all. If you're a skeptic, try one of the free clinics and get a taste for how amazing a healing can be and feel for your psyche. Like, on Tuesdays (5p-7p) and Sundays (1p-?), they have a free Energy Healing Clinic. Its a quick session, and donations are welcome. The clinics are free because they are usually performed by practicing or recently graduated students, though there are also some very seasoned healers there to oversee and/or help out. The healers basically locate and pull out any bad energy that has contaminated yours and they, like, re-align your natural energy to make you feel balanced. Sometimes, they tell you about a past life or two and how what is conflicting you today may be leftover from another lifetime. There are also free Men and Women Energy Clinics on the 2nd and 3rd Thursdays of every month. Men's energy healing is on the 2nd Thursday (6p-7p), and Women's are on the 3rd Thursday (5p-7p). Aside from the free clinics, there are also half-hour to hour long Aura Readings on Mondays and Wednesdays at 5p, by appointment for $30. These are awesome to get more in depth and really dig into all your layers of aura and chakras, your current and spiritual path and to help you really get in touch with you. And on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 7:30p, there is a Trance Medium Healing Clinic. It's $30, and the healer actually channels a spiritual healer to connect with you on a spiritual level. It's a "spirit to spirit" healing, about 20 minutes long.I have not done this yet, but am hoping to check it out next month. I'm really excited! Of course, if you are interested in being a Reader or Healer, this place is an institute (duh!). They offer classes/programs for those wanting to learn or hone their skills. Classes can be 6 weeks to 12 months long, depending on what you are learning. If you've never been here, I insist you make time to get to one of the clinics. How can you have an opinion without experience? If you want to check this place out, and don't want to go alone, you can definitely reach out to me. I'm serious, don't hesitate to ask" Steph, wanna go to the Psychic Institute with me?" I'm more than happy to go with you and make a new friend at the same time :)

For an entire hour, she just had weird information, none which was accurate. Brought up lots of things that were simply unverifiable and useless. Past lives supposed to tell me what's going on now? So she told me past life stuff, but never brought it around to now. I asked her about my partner/love life. She said the passion was dead. WTH? Not even close, we're wanting to move in together!! I asked her about what I should be doing for a business, what was my calling. She listed off a TON of things that were nothing I would EVER consider, and when I called her out on it, she said "YOU are showing me all the things you DON'T want to do." Ummm, what? Blaming me for her inaccuracy, saying that I was the one doing it. Kept talking about roses and their colors, made no sense and told me nothing. I was in tears at the end of the call, I felt worse, more hopeless than I did at the start of the call AND NOW I'm out $125 on top of it. Oh yeah, I asked about money and my home, she suggested I apply to be a sample lady at Costco. LOL. I run my own business right now, why on earth would I choose such a low wage position? And then at the end, I was so upset, she said she would "talk to her teacher" and get back to me. She never did. Don't waste your time or money. I will never consult a psychic again because of this!!
