Lured in by the inviting decor and promise of free WiFi I tried Aja out for a afternoon coffee and laptopping session. I'd already eaten so I didn't take them up on one of their blackboard deals promising tasty sounding food with coffee included, opting instead for a piccolo latte. I asked the guy for the WiFi password but should have also requested the name of the network, because on powering up the computer none of the options were obvious. I tried the given password on a few with the stronger signal, but it didn't work. I didn't really want to bother them for the network name so I used my own portable modem...
Anyway, nerd talk aside, they do a good coffee here. They brought me some water to my table and the glass had ice in it, which really hit the spot. But speaking of ice-cold, it was an overcast summer's day, not too hot, but their air-conditioning seemed to be cranked up excessively, making it a little unpleasant to loiter too long.
