They took the smell out of my couches SO EASILY. Even with the fact that the couches were completely different materials and they removed stains as well!! We then hired them for mold services. First, they removed the mold from a wall in our back room, I started breathing easier immediately following the removal. They then removed mold from our living room and it turned out to be less than we thought!! Only thing I don't like with the company is they don't put plastic over insulation after the wall is cut out. I had a lot of insulation falling onto my floor after the work was done. Airight Air Duct Cleaning has been around in Coastal Virginia for over 20 years. Although their…read morelocation is at the north end near Shore Dr., they do service all of the Coastal Virginia area. Several years ago, I had used them to have the ducts cleaned in the house. This most recent job was for having the dryer vents cleaned. This job was done on June 1, 2022. Having used them before, I knew that they would be good to get back in touch with. I did think about having all the ducts cleaned, but the costs have skyrocketed to near $1000 due to inflation, supply chain issues, etc. Therefore, I have held off for now on having that done again. I had called a few days before the actual appointment to have one set up. They answered very quickly when I called. They were able to get me a morning appointment for June 1, 2022 at 8 am. Fast forward to the scheduled day. They were here just before 8 am, which worked out well. There were two technicians that came to do the work. They would take care of moving the dryer, doing the cleaning, etc. When they came in, they went over what would be done and such. All of it made sense and I just let them do their thing. In about an hour, maybe less, they were done. Everything was put back where it belonged and left it in the same condition as before they started, except that the dryer vent was now clean. Apparently, this type of service is recommended to be done yearly, but it had definitely been longer than that. Looking back, I can understand that since it could be a fire risk otherwise. I definitely don't need that kind of burning desire in the future. The good thing is that we were able to have everything recovered that had been sitting in the dryer graveyard (behind it). Overall, the technicians were professional and efficient. They did very well with the explanation of everything about the process and asked if there were any questions. The service was excellent as always, and I would put it in the sense of the white glove treatment. If you look at their Facebook page, they do look inactive there, but they are still in business. If you are looking to have your dryer vents or air ducts cleaned, I highly recommend them, and also be sure to ask about any specials or discounts.

Long story short, Dana went above and beyond just cleaning the air vent to ensure that our dryer was installed correctly and would be able to be properly maintained in the future. They did far more than what I had initially anticipated they would do! They came out almost immediately after calling and got our dryer back up and running shortly after arriving. Phenomenal experience and highly recommend to anyone looking for air duct cleaning of any kind!
