Kera is a great person and you can tell by her schedule that she is well liked and respected for her talent. Book in advance or you may not get in when you need your haircut. Kera has also been kind enough on occasion to squeeze me in for a haircut when I forgot to schedule. I recommend In style for everyone, my wife and daughters also use this salon and if you need your nails done ask Kera for her daughters number.

She suggested a reverse-balayage -- something I didn't even consider before as a possibility! She skillfully painted back in some of my natural color throughout, still allowing some of the blonde to come through. I cannot express how thrilled I am with the results! She also nailed my cut--I wanted to keep the length and add in some layering. I'm very particular about layering around my face and again, Alexis listened to my concerns and walked me through exactly what she was going to do before she began cutting. She did a fabulous job! I called and spoke to the owner of JonV, Tamika, and she was super friendly and professional on the phone and was willing to squeeze me in that same day. I'm always hesitant to try someone new because there aren't many with the skill set to work with my type of hair. Tamika was wonderful and did not disappoint! She gave me exactly the style and length I wanted and was super kind and courteous. The price was reasonable, professionalism top-notch, good location. I've been to many excellent stylist but at some point they always to seem give me the haircut that they want for me, NOT the haircut that I want. My hair is very tricky - it's thick and gets really puffy if layers and thinning aren't done properly. Carrie has mastered thinning my hair so that it's has a really smooth look. She has also introduced products that I could NEVER live without now. The hair oil (can't spell the brand) smells amazing and works amazing. My whole family, husband, son, and daughter are all hooked on it. She's also introduced dry hair shampoos that allow me to go several days between washings. It saves me a ton of time not blow drying and straightening every day. She's also got a very flexible schedule and I find it so much easier to schedule directly with her rather than a receptionist at a big salon. I could not imagine going back to a big salon now. Her salon at Sola is warm and personal.
