Alejandra was responsive to our menu needs, but she also made helpful suggestions so that we weren't making an overwhelming number of decisions (which any bride-to-be will appreciate!). She stayed in regular email contact, checking in with me and making sure I was on track, and she was so on top of things that she is the one who let me know when there was an open day to visit the venue, and arranged for us to meet. Alejandra's calm, friendly demeanor combined with her passion for food and her efficient planning made me feel so well cared for. To say that she went above and beyond is certainly an understatement. Overall they did a good job and the food excellent but arriving late to the event and poor timing to replenish empty dishes was disappointing also dessert wasn't served until most guest departed. As we try to move past the awkwardness of the tasting conversation she then asked us what cuisine we wanted at our wedding. She commented that my fiancés name is Chinese, so you "might want Chinese food" and then she went on to say my name (Danielle) is not Chinese". This came off as incredibly rude to both of us. My fiancé and I are both Chinese, but it was really weird to make assumptions and bring up ethnicity before us even saying what we were interested in. Making assumptions or suggestions about what cuisine a client wants based off their name is extremely unprofessional and we were shocked.
