If I could write this place with negative stars, I would I waited over a hour in line with my wife with two separate ids from different addresses I was over the limit by 10 pounds and wasn't aloud to remove the ten pounds from the load and they denied all service. Ridiculous. Brlight in a large amount of items including a heavy amount of metal. Waited in line for a half hour. Staff was courteous. They weighed everything, took a copy of drivers license with address and birthday and then went to car and called in license plate number to office; and after doing all this and taking our items away, gave us $1, yes 1 whole dollar. This was my first and last time trying AIM recycling. I saw the line and thought "Ok this shouldn't take long." Boy was I wrong. The one thing that was frustrating about this experience was that there is only one person doing the recycling. The staff inspects every single recycling item in your basket, weighs, calls out how much you should be receiving to the cashier. If this business had more staff, the lines would definitely move much quicker and dealing with the heat would have been more bearable. This is the slowest recycling experience I've ever had. I was there for a little bit over an hour from start to finish. Definitely not cool. In addition to there only being one staff, the staff did have to talk to a kid who kept running around up and down the hill near the parking area which further slowed the recycling line down. The only positives I can say was the cashier was nice and they gave complimentary water bottles for each customer. Other than that, I would not recommend coming back here. read more

this was the first time I have been there. I had a car load of Copper and Scrap in heavy container. I am 80 years old. NO ONE offered to help me empty my car so I did everything myself. there was only 1 person that was a little friendly but no help. I will NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN !!!!!!! SCAMMERS!!! They are thieves that tell you lies over the phone and when you get there, you get something totally different. I called about having a furnace, coil and condenser and wanting to recycle it. They told me over the phone it's between $35 - $50 for the system depending on size of the system. That's all she told me word for word. Brought the system in and after waiting 45 minutes in line, I was told the total was $5. I then proceeded to explain what I was told over the phone and that didn't make any difference to them. They said "Oh it's not gutted therefore it's mixed metal. Not once did they tell me that over the phone. Then she said "it's 35-50 per ton". Again totally different from what I was explained on the phone. THIEVES!!! I hope the owner sees this and does something about it. Because taking advantage of people is wrong and something needs to be done about it. We work hard just like them but you are taking advantage over people. I will never recommend this place to anyone. SCAMMERS!!!! read more

I recycle cans and bottles and was separating them in bags to have ready to take to have them recycled. I finished at 3:50ish. I checked to see if this place was open and it says they close at 4:30 i live 4 mins away. I definitely had time to go so i went and gathered all my bags and put them in the truck and when i got there at 4:00 they told me they are closed. Waste of time. Im never going here again. Definitely told my friends and family and they are not going there either. Unprofessional. read more

These reviews give the place a very bad image, if you are organized, ask questions when in doubt, and follow instructions on your sorting of the materials. You will get excellent service and assistance. Can be a little hot in line at times, take some extra water and gets pretty loud so protect your ears. Staff is great, location is clean. read more

I just had a horrible experience at your facility located at 23332 cajalco, perris ca 92570. You see I saved up my recycling for a while and had lots of bags to take, As soon as i get there, your employee, starts telling me that he will not accept more than a hundred ponds. I had never heard that before, and I did not see a sign with this in writing. He kept telling me that the 30-40 minutes that we waited in line, then he took my recycling items weighed them (102.5) after waiting about a half hour, I asked for my check...that is when he decided to inform me that there was no one to sign for the check. Why was I not informed of this when he took my items? I am standing in the hot sun with my my two small boys, and he did not know when this person was going to come back. I had a horrible experience and received a check that's not valid \, since it is not signed , because after another 30-40 minutes i asked for my check and left. read more

One of the better places to get good money for your recyclables. I've gone here a few times per the recommendation of a good friend. Staff is friendly and my first time here they did assist me and explained the procedure and answered questions. You receive a type of business card with a client number on it to save time on future visits. read more

I went in as a VIP member as I ALWAYS do and did not bring my card and usually they'll look you up and give you their coupon price without showing your card. This time however I was NOT told that I HAD to have my card and was ripped off and not given the coupon price. I went back and told the lady and she said "sorry, nothing I can do now, you have to have your card!" This was completely rude and uncalled for. She should have told me BEFORE I gave her all my cans, glass and plastic for the least price and I would have gone ELSEWHERE to get a better price on all my hard earned and hard worked for recycleables! I will NOT be returning as they have STOLEN, yes I SAID STOLEN my hard worked for money! I only got a fraction, to maybe HALF of what I have gotten at full price if she would have gave me the coupon price like they ALWAYS have done! There was NO sign posted at all saying that you now MUST have your VIP card or else you wont get the increased coupon price for your recycleables!
