Where I am not into tie dye myself I have found a couple little bracelets that I like. My wife and daughter though have found several things they like and have made appropriate purchases. Me being more of a foodie than being wowed by clothes and the like, I'm here for the bowls! I have recently learned I'm really in acai and pitaya! Don't ask me what either of them actually are, IDK, I just know I like the flavors I get when I order a bowl with either of those things! I'm a big fan of the peanut butter and the nutella bowls. I feel like I'm getting a yummy treat but one that is also healthy(ish). I am not a nutritionist so I won't just come out and say "they're good for you"......... but I feel like it's a solid dessert option that won't push me towards a diabetic coma. You can choose a plant, a vase, then head upstairs to repot and decorate. They even have drinks or mocktails while you shop or pot. We went for a monthly anniversary date. I've been to three or four events catered by the new incarnation of Just Catering now (the Just…read moreCatering post Orr's departure). One is better off choosing any other option available. The odds of that random option being worse than this option are pretty low. This place has never provided a substantial vegan option. The food provided is mediocre at best and our meaty friends report the same. Before Orr left, we'd used this place several times, they even catered our (all vegan except for the chicken for our meaty friends/family) wedding. It was great, we'd always been extremely happy with our experiences before Orr left. Since then, we've had only bad experiences. This most recent time the servers tried to serve vegetarians soup with chicken stock and once they were explained that wasn't vegetarian, they tried to serve it to vegans (the soup also had egg in it, just FYI). The folks serving on the line didn't know if the things they were serving were vegetarian, vegan or really anything about the ingredients. We had to ask, then demand, then get someone who was *in charge* of the event to speak with someone from Just Catering to get the answers to our questions. There were lots of glares and outright hostility toward those with dietary restrictions during these exchanges, making the whole experience a whole lot more unpleasant than it needed to be. All of these vegan hassles are despite communicating to them before hand that vegans, vegetarians, etc., would be present and need to be fed. They were told how many of each they'd need to feed as well. It's not just the food that is subpar, the service is abysmal. Do not use these folks.

From day one, Ludgers stood out to my husband and I purely on their customer service and…read moreresponsiveness. We were originally between two vendors and before even tasting their food, we knew that we wanted Ludgers purely by their communication and knowledge over the wedding industry in general. Michelle Ramzel was the event specialist assigned to us and honestly I couldn't have picked a more perfect person to work with. Her knowledge on rentals and her attention to detail was a god-send during this stressful time of planning a wedding. Like I'm pretty sure she has angel wings. 10/10 would recommend working with her in the future! Now on to the food. Ludgers hosts free tasting events through out the year that you could attend in order to try a good portion of their menu and if you didn't get to try something in one of those tastings that your interested in, they also offer to host a private tasting in order to try some of the other items. These tastings made it super easy for my husband and I to narrow down our menu and select our favorite items. When we decided to attend a private tasting we noticed that the steaks were cooked more medium/medium-well and we were looking for a more medium-rare cook to our steaks. Michelle took note of what we wanted and we were pleasantly surprised that our steaks were cooked perfectly on the wedding day! Additionally, the mashed potatoes are to die for and the chorizo mini sliders are so freakin good! Day of the wedding. Michelle showed up at the time that the venue opened to start setting up table cloths as early as possible. This allowed my mom to set up center pieces pretty early so that she could take her time getting ready. I'm telling you, Michelle is an angel. I was a little busy so I didn't get to talk to very many servers or cooks but my goodness, they were on top of everything! The bar tenders were so sweet to all of my friends and family and during dinner, no one even had the opportunity to think about food or drink because they were constantly being taken care of. This team was so professional and kind. My husband and I were unable to attend our cocktail hour because of photos but the staff went out of their way to ensure that we had a small plate of our passed appetizers to try with our meal once we got to our table! Then at the end of the night the staff packed up two meals for my husband and I to have once we got back to our hotel! Plates, napkins, water, wine, silverware... all included in our goody bag. Its quite possible for me to go on forever about how amazing this company is but I'll stop now. My hope is that my review helps a future bride make the decision on who they should use for catering. You definitely can't go wrong with choosing Ludgers.

The only thing Vitter's used was our warmer, yet he took time to make sure everything was neat and clean in our parish hall kitchen. I can't say enough about how much I appreciated having him cater our party and would highly recommend him.
