Her first couple classes she's already learned a few things that will help her in the real world if a situation arises. The teachers David and his son as well as Sarai the female instructor are great. It's not so crowded like other classes I've attended so we get better personal attention from the instructors. They teach in both English and Spanish. There are also kids classes in the evenings at 530 every day that is strictly for kids only. The prices are very cheap compared to the US. Recommend this place to learn self defense if you live around the area or if you're staying at the hostel.

This is our daughters first time doing any kind of martial arts and she was very intimidated about joining at 13 but she quickly got over it. Jon's daughters are also part of the class and made her feel very welcomed. I love that it's not competitive and the focus is truly on teaching the kids how to defend themselves and good form. No other studio we visited with was offering what this one can; Classes six days a week, multiple disciplines, adult and youth classes, and a smaller more intimate class training environment. Professor Tony and his master instructors are true professionals to thier craft. I have entrusted them for over two years now and I will never regret the decision I made to enroll both my daughter and son. They both have flourished under the leadership of this studio. They have made life long friendships and have made tremendous strides in learning both the arts of Taekwondo and Jui Jitsu. Both of my children regularly compete in Jui Jitsu competitions nationally. They have been recognized as State and World Jui Jitsu champions, all thanks to Professor Tony and his amazing staff of instructors. This is the place!
