Volunteered for a PTSO event @ Aiea High School. This event was the annual Family Fun Fair. I helped out in the Country Store selling a variety of produce. It was my first time attending and volunteering at this annual event. It's a very worthy event to raise money for students and teachers at the school. Mother Nature decided to bless the event with rain drops this year, but the event went on with the rain until the end of the event when the rain decided to stop. All in all a successful event for the school. Looks like everyone had a good time there. Please be on the watch for this event next year to attend and support the school. Let's hope Mother Nature decides to not attend this event again. This event is a nice way to spend a Friday Night in Aiea.

Large facility with an elevated gym! Great young men and women here with great abilities and spirit to excel at becoming the BEST! I look forward to officiating here this season when called upon to do so! Wrestling Coaching staff has great knowledge and focus. Sportsmanship is also on display 24/7/365! Can't wait to get on the mat!

Go Na Alii! 2016 Aiea Christmas Parade. The Aiea H.S. Air Force JROTC are in the background (light blue shirts).

It is a safe environment that feels like a small community. I truly believe that it takes a village to raise a child and I am so thankful for this school to help us raise our kids with good morals of just being loving and caring, just like Jesus did. I was worried about some private schools being politically charged but this school feels so safe and just focuses on teaching about God in a loving, non-condemning way. We are members of another baptist church but we don't feel any pressure to join their church either. My son is diagnosed autistic with ADHD and needs ABA therapy at school but the school was so accommodating, they helped us with our individual needs and the teachers are always willing to take that extra time and effort to work with the ABA therapist and set up meetings with us parents to see if our son needs medication adjustments. Thanks to the extraordinary support from the school staff, especially Ms. DK, my son has improved dramatically and we are so thankful for their continued support. Once you meet Ms. DK, you'll feel like you've been friends with her for a long time!!! She is that charismatic and caring!! Not only are the staff so nice, I don't think I have met a group of kids so sweet and nice. From 8th grade to preschool, this school is so good at encouraging kindness and understanding. I have never met teenagers so nice and polite!! They also encourage the older students to be chapel buddies with the younger kids so it is amazing to have amazing role models for the younger kids. Ms. Anu is an amazing science teacher and has many STEM activities and many students get awards when they attend the competitions locally and nationally. It's is a great opportunity for our kids to practice presenting their research and innovations at a young age! Ok, I can gush forever but it's getting too long so I'll stop. My kids will be attending here until 8th grade so feel free to catch me at this school if you want to hear more

Fast forward to 2022 and after a horrifically long two years for many of us I was so delighted to see through a favorite vendor posting their participation at this craft fair unusually placed in March but luckily had the day off I darted off to Moanalua with anticipation. Yes parking just about impossible we all know that but this is all about the school and to raise funds so when I drove up and saw that it's $5 for parking which goes directly to the school you know I'm all in in fact gave them an additional $5 which the adorable student was puzzled lol. Aside for the obvious parking it's completely free and in comparison to the usual town location with $8 parking and $4+ entry fee this is a bargain that's going to a fantastic place...our local school. With my check in and post I've been asked if it was worth it...with response of not to complete your Christmas shopping as I was talking to some vendors it was their very first event since the closure and some had forgotten their passcodes to sign in to their accounts for credit cards and what not. I'm just so happy to see some newbies and old friends which is a great start to somewhat of a normalcy and got to reconnect with some that don't have Instagram outlet to keep up with. So much shifting going around with shop closure, moving and reopening...let's all support local artist and small business. Thank you!!

"Screw you and your kids, if somebody died from a crash. Its your fault". Secondly, for the upcoming missions week, they are STEALING 3 days from the students march BREAK. "Oh yeah, after weeks of school, full of homework that exausts the kids. Lets make them waste their break to go somewhere else." Thirdly, this school wastes all their money on activites and gives it all to the church. This school is VERY unorganized. Barely any P.E things to use, seems like they just hire teachers instantly because some of the teachers here SUCK at teaching. For example, the bible teacher gave the STUDY GUIDE for the first FINAL a DAY BEFORE the final. Also, this school says its better then every other school but is not. A student got detention for four hours for being on their phone AFTER school hours, and they try to force your kids to stay an extra hour for three days a week after school for band. (Band is also terrible here and is quite boring to the students). Do NOT send your children to this school, consider something else.

I'm addition to being a diamond in the ruff, they have exceeded all my expectations even though it's a very small school. They are not only amazing role models, they are personally invested in all the kids. I personally feel like their second parents to my children. I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants a high quality education for their children.
