This was recommended by the woman in the gift shop at the palace. We worried it would be too touristy since it was so close. There were tourists in there.
We started by sharing the baccala'in agrodolce. Deep Fried cod with red sweet onions, sweet sauce sauce and almonds. It was delicious.
Freshly made, the salty fish and sweet onions complimented each other. This was a very good dish and I would recommend it.
We each got a pasta. I got the ravioli stuffed with grouper served with fresh fish, green tomato, cloves, prawns, and Caciocavallo (cheese).
My friends got the La Nostradamus pasta con le sarde (pasta with onions, wild fennel, raisins, pine nuts, anchovies, sardines, and tunetic).
And Gamberi e Pepe Nero (linguini in a black pepper sauce, prawns, butter, mint and mullet dried eggs.
My ravioli were good and the shrimp on top had a lot of fl or. The fish on top was a bit bland.
He told us the oldest and best bar for cassata (separate review)
