Don't use this company if you have service animals!! I attempted to view a home twice with the same realtor. Xing Mao. the first time she sounded like I woke her up when I called her. Had to reschedule the showing and when I arrived she was 15min late still. When I told her I have a service animal, the key to the home suddenly was missing, and though I was still interested in the property as I've previously lived down the street and am familiar with the area, she refused to give me an application but promised we could reschedule a showing. We recheduled a week later and she let me get to the home before she said I could no longer see the home because I have a service animal. Refused to even let me tour the home. Wouldn't even tell me face to face this encounter. She was texting me through the window. Said I could not even apply also due to them only having one application available but then proceeded to text me I could once I told her it's illegal to refuse solely based off a service animal. Then stopped replying when I asked how do I apply. 1/10 service would not recommend. read more

Next time I will be searching up yelp on any future rentals. As many other people here state, RUN, do not bother trying to rent from these people. As they discriminate and make up reasons to deny you even if you are qualified. Which I'm sure is illegal. They state they require a 600 credit score. Yet we have way more than that and have the income required. Yet were denied. $100 that could of went to gas down the f'n drain and wasting our time. Not only was Issac horrible professionally, as he would rudely talk over you when he should be listening to the information I need to give him. Red flag after red flag. Even my realtor was questioning why the house has been on the market for a month. Well.... now I know. Right off the bat Issac was full of sh!7 lying to me saying how the house is 'HOA', when in fact it's not. So already we were off on the wrong foot with them already lying to us. He had also lied about another applicant being in front of us, another f'n lie to some how make me feel like I was missing out some how by not applying. All that did was give me a bad feeling, and that feeling was right. If possible, I will be seeking legal action for fraud. All these applicants applying, that's a lot of money they are stealing from people. Just so they can discriminate and make up reasons to deny you when you clearly qualify. *If you haven't already people, I'd strongly suggest you head on over to the BBB and report them for anything they did with any previous tenants. I will caution though, the BBB is another fraudulent business that doesn't really do much in lowering peoples ratings. read more

We're renting a three bedroom and can't even use the one of the rooms bc of water leakage. Calling Cynthia does nothing! Their handyman shows up drunk and can't fix anything right. Don't rent from this company. Had so many problems with property and had leaks and flooding. When I moved out they charged me for every little thing that they wanted to upgrade but wasn't broken. They took my 2800 and gave me a list of all they wanted to repair. I had pictures of property they are racist to blacks. Beware of this Reality company. Not sure how these people stay in business. Hotpoint realty is quite literally the worst realty agency I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. We were charged ridiculous amounts of deposits; yet the place we rented was never taken care of. Water damage started to come through the ceiling of the down stairs of the property my fiance and I were renting and Hotpoint acted as though we were bothering them when we asked them to fix it. They then hired a sub par handyman instead of a proper contractor to fix the problem. The problem came back again. And again. And again. Every time a repair was made, the house was left in worse condition than when they had started. Patches ALL OVER the ceiling of the downstairs of the property. Now that we have moved out of the property they are trying to hold our deposits. I keep being told that it's the owners decision as to when and if we will get the deposits back. The house was left in better condition than when we had initially moved in! I even hired professional cleaners to ensure so, because I anticipated problems with getting our deposits back as the only thing this property and management company have been is a constant headache. Stay far, far away in order to preserve your sanity. read more

All I can say is run away!!! What a terribly run company. Loyal renters for many years, during the time we needed multiple repairs done on the house. No AC for a week in the summer, pipes bursting and leaking through the roof, severe pests, appliances all breaking and their "handyman" (who is absolutely useless) couldn't fix a single thing. Finally get out of the house and we are charged for the appliances and issues there were already present when we started renting. I would NEVER recommend this real estate office to anyone. I totally agree with Emmanuelle M's post. This company is horrible. I had to ask my neighbor where my streets mailboxes were because we were told the wrong set of boxes. Worst yet is the fact that we've only been in our rental for 30 days and we've had to many maintenance issues like no lights not working, toilette's not flushing, constant leaks, garage door not working, staples coming up from the floor that aren't fixed. Of course the utilities aren't on before you rent so you can't test anything before hand. Just know you're going to have issues. There are a Ton of properties to rent in Las Vegas, seriously do yourself a favor and choose a good management company. Issac, Tammy & Cynthia at Hotpoint Reality are terrible. They couldn't care less about you and your needs. They told me that if there are any sort of maintenance issues you call this number and we send someone out, very easy...That's a total lie!! They take their sweet time, they've even admitted that they've forgot about a maintenance call I made on a Thursday and didn't have someone out til the following Tuesday. I paid a cleaning fee and the house wasn't even cleaned when I came in...they are crooks! I would give them NO stars if I could! I can't wait until my lease is up...although i'm only in the first month. read more

Update : 9/1/2014 I sent a text message to Sean and his manager Selena on August the 27th to see if I could see the property again while my girlfriend was in town with me. She is considering moving with me however we have not made a decision at this point. Neither Sean or Selena were available apparently. I was somewhat disappointed that neither of them were available. Today I sent a text message to both Sean and Selena asking them if the electricity is working at the home. I would like to have an inspector go through and test everything including the air conditioning before I take possession of the property. I also asked for them to email me a completed copy of the rental agreement that they will want me to sign by this Wednesday. I want to submit it to my attorney to review before I sign. I also reminded them that they agreed to have the home deep cleaned and have the yard work maintenance performed before I take possession. I also asked them if they had the air conditioning inspected and serviced? I plan on having an inspector test everything and also take pictures of the property to show its state at the time which I take possession. I have done this in the past and it has worked very well at the end of the lease to help me get all of my security deposits back when the owners have claimed that there were repairs necessary or were slow in returning the deposits. I was able to show the home was in the same condition when I left that it was in when I originally took possession. I will continue to update through this experience. Origional post: As mentioned by Michelle S, the address is incorrect. So far so good. I have been dealing with Sean who showed me a rental house and helped me fill out the paperwork for the initial deposit. At first I was told that I would have to come to their office to fill out the paperwork and supply a copy of my pay stub before they would even show me the house. My work is about a 35 minute drive from their office. Whereas, the property was only about a 10 minute drive. I asked them if I could email them a copy of my pay stub so that they could show me the property. I thought it was a bit ridiculous that I would have to take almost an hour extra out of my schedule in order for them to simply show me the property. I guess that Sean did not understand what I was saying initially because he was insistent that I come to their office. I went ahead and emailed him a copy of my pay stub. After that, I called him and asked if he could meet me at the property. He agreed to do so. The property looked to be in good condition however Sean told me at this point that the owner had decided that they wanted $1750 per month instead of the $1700 that was listed originally. He asked me if that would be a problem. I told him that I was looking at a few other properties and of course that the price increase would be a big factor in my decision about which property I choose. Two days later I called Sean back to see if the property was still available. He told me that it was and that he had spoken with the owner and was able to get the monthly price back down to $1700 as originally listed. The previous day, I had sent him a text message asking about lawn maintenance and if the property had a home warranty. Also, if there were any problems with the home would I be dealing directly with Hotpoint Realty or the owner of the property? He texted back to me that I would be dealing directly with Hotpoint if there were any problems. He also informed me that they would perform the initial maintenance of the yard and a deep cleaning of the home. After that I would be responsible for yard maintenance. I agreed to place a hold deposit, they would only accept cash or money order for the initial deposit. No personal or business checks. I was told that people had submitted checks in the past that were rejected and then the real estate company would have to pay the returned check fees. As a small business owner I have experienced this myself so it was not too big of a deal but a bit of an inconvenience. This is the ABSOLUTE WORST experience I have ever had. ZERO service, zero follow up with issue. Extremely rude people. The only reason I am not breaking the lease is because I am about to give birth in 3 weeks and can't handle the move at this moment. They are a NIGHTMARE.
