I arrived just after 1pm and the buffet was still set up and remained well cared for during my one hour visit. Chicken, lamb, vegetarian options, naan, riata, two different rice options plus a biryani. The food was flavorful and spicy but not especially "hot" spicy. If hot and spicy food is a challenge for you, this should be okay. For dessert, they have gulab jamun and a soft-serve mango ice cream. Perfect. The only thing missing was a box of single-use gloves so that I could avoid touching the tongs directly but they did have a bottle of hand sanitizer I used before and after each trip to the buffet. This was a great meal! [Review 1638 of 2025 - 2215 in Florida - 25186 overall]

The portion sizes were huge, especially for a lunch special. Each meal came with two curries, dal, naan, rice, a samosa, and gulab jamun. The food was packed well, stayed hot, and everything traveled nicely. Both the veg and non-veg curries were flavorful and well-spiced, and the naan was soft and fresh. Everything felt generous and satisfying, and the pricing was very reasonable for the amount and quality of food. Definitely a great value for Indian takeout in the Baymeadows/Jacksonville area--we'd happily order again.

We come in around 8:15PM on a Sunday night so we had no issue getting a table. Once seated we started off with drinks. I normally go for a Kingfisher but they didn't have it. Was they did have was better. We got a Taj Mahal Lager and this bad boy comes in a large size which we were all impressed with. A full 22oz-24oz bottle gets us every time. For entrees they had a bunch of options and the prices were really good. We of course had to get some Naan and we went with Garlic and Chili Cheese. Their Garlic Naan was thinner then I was used too but still good. The Chili Cheese Naan was great and I will be getting this every time it is offered. I ended up getting by go to. The Lamb Korma spicy level hot. This again was a great price $19 or $20. Most Indian places have it $5 or $7 more for Lamb. This was a nice big serving and it was loaded with tender chunks of Lamb. I will say it was for sure a more mild spice for sure not hot and the Korma Curry was flavorful but not as much as I have had. I would for sure come back because prices are very good friendly staff and so many options.

When I did a business culture treat at Hyderabad India back in 2014, this was the food right outside the hotel and Persis Indian Grill takes me back to that delicious memory and we are blessed to have it here at Baymeadows as it is very consistent with flavor and the service is always great. The servings are very gracious that you most likely will take some to go. Oh, and just be sure to address the server about the spice level as a medium can be a bit too hot for some. At a mild spicy as a start would be ideal and you work your tolerance along the next visit, so that you can enjoy your meal :)

I'm a white woman married to a Indian man and I love Indian food. I cook it quite well so when I eat out for Indian food, I have very high expectations. Ironically, I have a much higher spice tolerance than my husband. But whenever he orders and ask for medium spice, it's exactly right. But whenever I order and ask for a medium spice it's nowhere near spicy enough. I don't know if that is just because I sound like I can't handle my spice, but it happens every single time. But getting onto the actual taste and quality of the food. Their Panera biryani is one of my favorites, though I do like their veg biryani more my husband first appear so we usually settle for paneer. It is perfectly cooked so fluffy and delightful and oh my goodness is it abundant. One $15 container will make at least four meals. My husband and I will get one box and share it for lunch or dinner and then put it away because it will be another lunch or dinner later. And it's not like we eat a little we eat a full plate and this box is stuffed to the brim. Service--8/10. My only complaint here is regarding service. It can take a while sometimes to pick up your order, especially when they first open. And I'm not saying it takes time for it to be available because I will often arrive and see it sitting on the shelf, but no one is at the front counter to check me out. I have honestly never dined in at this location so I can only address the service in the aspect of takeout orders. Atmosphere--10/10. It is a very centralized location and a nice strip mall with accessible parking and ample at that. The interior is quite nice and what you'd expect in an Indian restaurant with beautiful cultural pieces around the interior. So if you are looking for a place to eat in this would definitely be atmospherically a nice place.

Me and my girlfriend went on a Saturday evening for the first time, and were pretty satisfied with the price ($32.74 for 1 large pizza and 2 single scoops of ice cream + 20% tip). We picked the food up and could NOT stop talking about how wonderful it smelled. The ice cream itself is great, though has a strong floral taste so keep that in mind. The pizza was excellent. We tried butter chicken and kadai goat pizza so far. Overall, both pizza are very good and the following review is more on my preference. Butter chicken is good but a bit mild for my taste. But my parents, who are not as familiar with Indian food, didn't find it as enjoyable due to the stronger taste. I will be back trying other flavors. Just very happy to have one in Jacksonville.

When I realized that there was a restaurant serving Nepalese (and Indian) food, I had to go! I went on a Monday evening. The place was maybe 10% full. Huge place, very bright and airy. Some TVs over the bar (they have a full bar). No reservations needed on Mondays, for sure. I started with a Nepalese beer. It was fine. I got the chicken momos, the samosas, and the daal with rice. Portion sizes were huge, and the food tasted fresh and well-seasoned. I got way too much food for one person, but I wanted to taste a range on things. I wish I had a bigger stomach! Since I didn't have any friends in Jacksonville, I leaned on yelp for everything from getting my nails done to of course eating some good food. I passed this place several times while leaving the St. John's town center. Because of their hours of operation and my schedule, I was not able to make it there for their lunch buffet. Since I was by myself, I opted to sit at the bar. Let me say, the place was absolutely spotless! And I loved the decor! Everyone from the hostess, to the runners, to the bartenders were all very friendly. For the price of what I paid for wine, I definitely had a slight buzz from the amount that was given! I opted to order the tandoori chicken with rice with a side of naan. The non-laced a little bit of salt, but I see that this is a trend in the Jacksonville area. But no worries, it was still fresh and did it job. The chicken was nice and tender, and I left feeling full. Reheated my chicken and rice two days later, and the quality and taste was still there! I highly recommend this place for the amazing customer service and the quality of food.

I was a bit disappointed in the selections, as so many tasted the same. The goat curry - which I love - was all bones, I went 3 times to try to find meat, and it was just all bones, but it did have a lovely flavor. I found the Naan not to be at all soft and chewy, but rather hard and tasteless. Maybe I hit the end of the batch? The interior is lovely. Very calming and pleasant. I do think they could do without the big screen TV. Sometimes it's just nice to sit and not have that playing in the background. Service was a bit off and on. I had asked for ice, several times, before receiving it. As most people get the buffet I guess they figure you're on your own. My table mate did not get the buffet, and had a hard time even placing her order as they just don't return to the tables. I would go back, but probably for something off the menu, not the buffet.
